“Hidden gem is such an overused term, but it certainly describes this wonderful family owned authentic Mexican restaurant. I have driven by it a thousand times, peeked in the windows when picking up a ham at Honey baked, but until last night, had never eaten there. Friends suggested it. Everyone had something different-I had stewed pork ribs, so tender and the salsa verde it was stewed in -Devine! Also at the table, ala cart beef tacos, as well as an al pastors taco plate that was raved about. Also an interesting app-French fries topped with what you'd expect on nachos, and the plate was clean when we left the table. Very friendly and knowledgeable waiter. We went early on a Tuesday evening-no problem getting a table for 4, when we left though, it was filling up. Highly recommend.“

“We ate here for the first time and it was wonderful! We are from NY amd have eaten at great Mexican places but this was spectacular! Unique and lovingly cooked! Spectacular food and unique pairings! “Our birthday party of 9 was an amazing evening with our wonderful server,Carlos. Everybody loved all their entrees and I especially loved my enchilada with mole sauce. “We’ve been dining at Mi Pueblo Venice for eighteen years. Tonight’s experience surpassed every experience previously, even though we’ve always really enjoyed it. Starting with the incredibly festive decor of the Brickyard Plaza, overflowing into the restaurant, it was visually stunning. Upon our arrival we were told an hour wait at the most. We waited only twenty minutes for a table for five, and I very much appreciated the liberal wait time estimate. Had we been told twenty minute wait and waited thirty, we’d have been disappointed. Service was phenomenal: menu options were great, margaritas delicious, food runner got everyone’s dish to the correct person, and…WHO IS IN THE KITCHEN?!? 😮👏🏼 Well done!! Absolutely delicious, the entire party enjoyed their meals. Thank you, thank you. Looking forward to the next visit soon! Happy New Year, Mi Pueblo crew!! 🎉“

“Rigo Taco Ricos is what happens when a food truck marries a gas station and their child grows up to become a flavor god.
This burrito? Life-changing. I’m not being dramatic — every bite felt like a warm hug from someone who knows how to season meat. The rice was fluffy perfection, the grilled meat had that smoky, just-charred-enough edge, and the cheese melted into the kind of creamy happiness that usually only happens in dreams. The tortilla? Griddled with love. I don’t know what Rigo’s doing back there, but I would 100% attend a TED Talk on it.
And the salsas? The green one flirted with me. The red one slapped me and called me “mijo.” Both were perfect.
Even the chips were next-level — crunchy, golden, and clearly not an afterthought. I would trust these chips with my secrets.
I’ve eaten in fancy restaurants that charged me $38 for a dish with the word “foam” in it — and I’d STILL choose this burrito 10 times out of 10.
So yeah, if you’re anywhere within a tank of gas from this place, go. Go now. Skip your meeting. Fake a flat tire. Tell your boss you’re chasing greatness — because you are.“

“My husband and I were there for Taco Tuesday and we both enjoyed the tacos and laid back counter style service. This was the second time we've been to Fuzzy's and both times Kenzie was there. She was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Our dinners were ready with little waiting and served hot! We plan on coming back for another Taco Tuesday down the road.“

“Sofia and the Manager (who was visiting from the Ana Maria Island location) were absolutely terrific. Sophia recommended some healthy choices, and the manager refilled my iced tea three times. Then, as I was leaving, he retrieved a large cup and filled it up with half-and-half tea. Perfect!“

“Few restaurants can authentically match Casa Masa on Siesta Key in all categories and even add, personality, care and interest in its patrons.
