“We went for lunch for my besties birthday. Food and service were amazing. A bonus is this spot is the BEST food ever. I havent had authentic Mexican food in Orlando since I lived in Southern California 13 years ago. The only drawback was the lighting. It was way too bright. We almost wanted to put on our Sunglasses but didn't want to be rude to such kind staff members. Please consider dimming your lighting. It is a great place though, nicely remodeled and great accents and pretty dinnerware. We have ordered food over 25 times and it is always excellent!“

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.“

“New to the area and decided to look for something we haven't tried yet. Walking up, the place looked closed, but thankfully it wasn't!
​We intentionally came during a slower time, so the place was almost empty. Typically, that’s when you risk getting slower service or lesser quality food, but we were completely surprised by how great everything was. Paola was our server and she was fantastic—speedy, attentive, and highly recommended. Make sure to ask for her and let her know I sent you!
​We started with the dip trio, which is always a great way to sample multiple flavors. I haven't said this in a long time, but the table salsa was absolutely fantastic, closely followed by the bean dip. The queso and guacamole were both really good as well.
​My wife ordered the Pollo Cancun, and let me tell you, I instantly regretted not getting it myself. It was honestly the best chicken and shrimp dish I have ever tasted!
​I got the Chile Relleno, which was perfectly prepared and very good. My only slight critique was the red sauce; my wife loved it, but I just thought it was okay—not my favorite, but not bad by any means. Even the rice and beans were excellent. We typically just pick at them, but here we actually enjoyed them both.

“It takes really outstanding products or service for me to give anything a perfect score, but this place certainly earned it. We've been pretty disappointed with the choice of Mexican restaurants around here lately. We go passed the food truck frequently so when our neighbors raved about the food we decided to give it a try. I wasn't familiar with some of the menu items so after a little searching, we decided to order the birria quesadilla, the chicken mulita & the steak & shrimp mulita. All of the food was really good but my husband loved the quesadilla & I think the chicken mulita is going to be my go to when I'm craving Mexican food. From now on Quesa Loco will be the place I think of when we want Mexican food.“

Yesterday I stopped in for the carne asada tacos and they instantly took me back to California. The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly the way authentic carne asada should be. The tortillas, salsa, and freshness of everything were absolutely incredible.

Then this morning I came BACK because I couldn’t stop thinking about the food and tried the chilaquiles… and OMG. Some of the best chilaquiles I’ve had in Florida. Authentic, comforting, homemade, and packed with flavor.

But what really made this place special was the people. The staff and family here are unbelievably friendly, welcoming, and genuine. You can feel the pride and love they put into every plate.
