“Last night we dined at The Backyard. Beautiful evening watching the boats come in, enjoying a drink and decide to order dinner. I ordered the Tuna Tacos I was so impressed as I enjoyed my tacos. Hats off to the chef..delicious Tuna Tacos.We will be back on Thursday for the Tuna Tacos before heading north for home!“

“Heard about this place and thought we'd stop by. Went in about three steps and knew right away we didn't want to take a seat. People were so crowded together it was like being in an elevator. Maybe they all knew each other? A couple invited us to sit with them. Where, on their laps? Five stars for friendliness.“

“Being from the Newengland area and have traveled the world I have always gravitated toward a restaurant like Cheers! Jim and his professional team has created an amazing environment with extremely delicious appetizers and entrees in that fashion. The beer is cold, the wine is quality and the cocktails are made to perfection. With chef Josh in the kitchen the presentation and taste of every entree is priceless. Regardless if you live here in beautiful Venice or visiting our lovely community Sands comes highly recommend from me and my family and friends!

We had about a 30 minute wait but well worth the wait time. Our server Yalitzaly was wonderful...she was super friendly and did a phenomenal job taking care and serving us. She was very experienced and accommodating ....I would say she is a super good valuble employee that cares about the resturants customers. We have friends visiting all the way from Barcelona, Spain, and what better way to impress them than with a visit to this amazing restaurant? The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a memorable evening. My husband and I are savoring a delicious tomato and cheese pizza, specially made without black pepper to accommodate my allergy. The staff here are incredibly attentive and accommodating. The kids are excitedly sharing a mouthwatering pepperoni pizza, while our friends are diving into delectable dishes: penne alla vodka and a hearty meatball pasta. Every bite is an absolute delight. “I’m so glad we decided to stop in and have dinner at Plaza Mexico Mariscos. Ariana was our server and she was amazing and made a few suggestions. Burrito Jalisco and my wife had the fajitas. Huge shot out to the cooks because all of our food was so delicious. I’m definitely eating here again when we visit Venice,FL. Come eat here you won’t regret it.“

“They have a tiki bar and it's right on the water and you actually sit on the dock. Birds come right up to you. And their fish is fresh and everything on the menu is just a little bit different. Not the same recipes you would see in another restaurant. And the food is Sensational. I am a tough critic and I give this place at 10. Don't miss this place.
Have to add onto this review, food is still excellent, but this place closes at 8pm and we got there at 7:30 pm and they said they were closed. Make sure you call before you go. I hate it when a restaurant doesn't stay open till its posted hours. UGHHH.“
