“I was on vacation when I saw this restaurant in St. Augustine FL. I saw the menu and said I have to go in and get something! I am a grilled cheese connoisseur and I make some good ones myself but oh my gosh, the grilled Mac and Cheese I had with I can't remember what kind of meat was AMAZING! So was the tomato soup! This amazing 70's music was playing inside and I was dancing waiting for my take out. It was so cool inside! They asked for my name and I told them. Little did I know when I came back in a few days later where we ate inside that time, that the man who waited on me 2 days before would remember me and call me by name! Holy cow! That was so cool! He said it was because I was dancing. I'm a dancer with 5 trophies so yeah, I was dancing to that good music but to remember me like that! This place offered an elevated dining experience. It wasn’t your typical local food joint. We only had appetizers and drinks, but that was enough to know it was exactly what our foodie hearts were craving.
We tried two craft cocktails—the Double Vision and the Lavender Haze. Whoever came up with the idea of mixing carrot, ginger, whiskey, and fennel was pure genius. It was such an exciting drink, perfectly made—we could’ve easily had a few more. The lavender drink was equally refreshing and intoxicating.
Small menu - which we love. We like when restaurants perfect everything, instead of a large menu where everything is mediocre.
We enjoyed the fish and sausage egg roll.
I’m a Minorcan chowder girl, and I could’ve easily swum in a bathtub of that tasty conch soup. It was that good.
The atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, setting the perfect vibe for an intimate experience. Everything about the vibe was just right.“

“My husband and I live in Palm coast and when we make the trip to St. Augustine, this place is always a must! We’ve been a few times now and each time they are so friendly and fast with the service. I really appreciate how child-friendly they are, they always treat our toddler with such kindness and patience. One time that we went they even brought him out a dessert of ice cream! They are the best and so is the food. The buffets they have during the week are always hot, fresh and tasty as well.“

“We were sat upon arrival for our reservation. The leather bound EXTENSIVE meno was a nice touch. Ethan, our waiter, was jovial, attentive, but not hovering. We took our time ordered drinks (Raising Cane was a fun, different flavor!). The meatballs were unique and "exotic" spices as claimed in the menu. The tuna tartar had a little bit of kick with flavoring, but the highlight was the grilled toast. We shared a small tossed salad which was just the right amount after two apps. The atmosphere may seem simple, but understand you're sitting in a restaurant that began as a house in 1764. The floors are older than most of our ancestries in this country. On this hallowed grounds they serve amazing wines, mashed potatoes to write home about, and a filet that is done to such perfection and personal preference, that I know they're cooked sous vide, not held too long at temp, and seared to perfection by a very deft hand. I cannot wait to return to the charm of St Augustine and, when I do, it will be this very same experience that I rush to first.“
