“This is one of the very best Sushi restaurants that i have ever eaten at. The service was spectacular and the selection of sushi and sashimi was stupendous. I have eaten in many Sushi restaurants and I have to say this is by far my favorite . Whenever we are in St. Augustine I know we will eat there again. My husband, who does not like sushi, also loved the food he was able to get.“

“The food was absolutely amazing and the service what quick and efficient.

We were starving when we got here, so I forgot to take pictures of the avocado roll, cucumber roll, and teriyaki tofu.

Every single the thing we got was amazing! And the teriyaki plate was so large that we ended up splitting it and so full we could barely eat the fried Oreos we got for dessert!“

“For the price, you can't top this place. Sushi was roughly as good as that you'd find at 150% of the menu prices here. It's not going to blow your mind or be the best sushi you ever ate, but it's still good sushi for crazy low prices.“

Pricing was fair, especially considering the quality of the actual food was higher than the last few Japanese steakhouses we've been to recently.

“We came for a date night last night. The food was absolutely delicious! The jalapeño poppers were a new experience in a delightful way. A lady that was working, but not our server (she sounded like an owner or general manager) had a lovely conversation with us and made us feel most welcome. The sauces definitely tasted made in house and not from a bottle. Hubby is currently chowing down on some left overs exclaiming that it’s his new favorite restaurant.“

“Thanks to the crappy service and environment at Yamato (just got up and left before the drink orders) we were able to find Mikato!! Very professional with a classy environment just how it’s supposed to be, and the service was impeccable and accommodating UNLIKE Yamato!! Our server Jada who had such a cute personality was amazing, and Bob (yeah right lol), our Hibachi Chev was so funny we had such a great time!!!! We will definitely be back!!! (see you tomorrow lol). “PRICES Reasonable, food was good, services was ok as well , But the building some TLC as customer what I look for a clean restaurant is the outside and bathrooms as well . The building is old but with some clean windows and touch up paint will look decent, will Attract more customers .“

“I have eaten at the restraunt a couple times inside and it has been awesome everytime so I do recommend eating there. Service has always been awesome, but Do not order to go. The food quality to go is nowhere close to when eat eat there and that's disappointing. I ordered hibatchi chicken and shrimp to go and pretty good chicken and shrimp floating in sauce and a bunch of onions and carrots floating in watery sauce. Will never order to go again. Especially when my whole order was over 75 dollars.“

Absolutely incredible atmosphere sitting at the bar watching your sushi made from Kenny, he is a master of his craft!

Extremely friendly and kind staff with wonderful food and sweet tea!
Took pictures but the food was so good we started eating before I could grab a picture lol!
