“I have eaten at Piesano's twice, and each time it was awesome! The food is absolutely wonderful - today, my party and I enjoyed a cheese calzone, shrimp scampi, and gorgonzola salad with shrimp. All were excellent. And the service and ambiance are exceptional. It is very quiet and comfortable, and the wait staff are patient and kind and don't mind if you take your time. Not many restaurants are quiet and relaxing these days. The prices are fair, as well, especially considering the high quality of the dishes. Highly recommended!“

“We were visiting St Augustine for a couple of days and both of our dinners were from Carmelo’s pizza. The first night we had supreme special pizza. Yum! Last night was lasagna and salad with artichoke, peppers, feta cheese and more. Sorry didn’t remember the name of it. It also was delicious! If we come back to St Augustine, we will be eating here. Not only because the food is delicious but everyone is happy and really great at customer service. Jean - on the left both times on the phone with our orders but also in person makes you feel like you are the most important customer in the shop. I am a manager in customer service and the service she gave to me and the customer service that the team gives each other is outstanding. This is how a business is run: great food, customer service and team work! Thank you Jean and everyone for making our anniversary weekend special and delicious.“

“Unless you're flying to Naples, Italy, this is going to be the closest thing. I was watching the entire process from start to finish and even having some great banter with the owner while he was making us 6 margherita pizzas on the fly. The way he folded the dough and stretched it was exactly how the process is taught and done in real Napolitano style. The dough was on point, sauce was authentic (approved by my rather large family who have just flown in from Naples, Italy) and I knew this was something else when my aunt exclaimed, "Wow, finally someone who does not put oregano in pizza sauce!" The trademark charred crust was beautifully adorned on each pizza and each bite took me back to my youth when we spent summers in Naples with family, where the pizzas just simply melt in your mouth 😋 Well done, Real Peel, well done. You have managed to satisfy 6 authetic, native, and extremely strict Napolitano Italians who were not going to let cut corners slide. 👏👏👏 Highly recommend, and definitely coming back. I'm glad to have finally found the only real pizza in St Augustine!!“

“Arrived on a Friday evening for a small cheese pie. The team promptly took my order and got started on it. There was a good energy, a camaraderie in the back.

The pizza looked amazing! The crust was spot on - not too thick and a great crisp and fluffiness inside. A great, homemade sauce that was just barely missing that extra something that makes it dance. On first bite, the cheese did seem a little rubbery, but by the 2nd/3rd slice I’d forgotten that. All together, it was an excellent sauce to cheese ratio.

“We used to go to Tony's all the time when I was younger, I hadn't been for many years until today. The pizza is still as fantastic as it was back then and for a good price. Easily one of the best pizza joints in town. I'll definitely be back more often.“

The cheese and sauce has great flavor but what I love is the vegetables are always cooked through and not crunchy and raw tasting which gives the pizza an incredible flavor. “Everything was spot on! The worker over there at night (March 31st) Deserves whatever he wants We had nowhere to eat, so we went to this nice and cozy Dominos at night around 10. The dude working over there was very nice and helpful for what we wanted, and he was the only person working over there. We ate at the sidewalk since there was no table in the place, but my family and I had lots of fun eating our dinner and talked, played, and drinked lots. Overall, for a night experience, it was awesome!! ?

Vegetarian options: Half of our family is vegetarian, so we had a lot of vegetarian options, including veggie pizzas, tater tots, stuffed cheesy bread, etc.

Parking: We had a huge Ford Transmit van, but it fit perfectly and we sat right by it to eat our delicious food??“

“My mother ordered a pizza online as a guest on pizzahut.com. For some reason or another, her choice of extra cheese did not make the ticket and it came up as no cheese. After picking it up and realizing it, I took it back in, and I spoke with The employee that was there. They were so incredibly nice. They even kept the wings in the box warm for us while they made her a new pizza. If you are going to order from Pizza Hut, this is a great location because they were so very nice big thumbs up for this crew“

“For a pizza chain this has great pizza. Better than dominos, pizza hut, papa johns, or any other fast food pizza chain.

I ordered bacon and pepperoni pizza and bbq boneless chicken. It was tasty. Cooked perfectly, good toppings, cheese. I will definitely order again in the future.“

“We had no prior knowledge of Blackfly. We chose it because it was close to our rental.  We smiled as soon as we walked in the side door leading to the bar area and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. The further we entered the very well decorated restaurant the more we knew we had made a good choice.  To us, the best reason to visit St. Augustine is dining at the Blackfly!  We went all out and had drinks,  appetizers, their version of Coquille St. Jacques and their Chilli lime shrimp. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection with exceptional sauces. Main course was a Chef's Special which was baked shrimps, scallops over a bed of thai noodles and a sauce to die for.  I had the bone in Pork chop cooked medium rare and it was delicious.  Blackfly has a vast selection of wines in their wine cellar and we enjoyed a nice Honig sauvignon blanc.   Kudos to Matt, our server, who throughout the evening gave us the right amount of attention and space to relax for our entire dining experience.  The food was so good and well prepared that I was compelled to go to the kitchen to thank the staff and gave a large tip for the kitchen staff . Our evening at Blackfly was the highlight of our trip.  Thank you Vaughn and staff, you have an outstanding establishment.“
