Best bar in downtown St. Augustine. Guinness on tap and the whiskey is served basically in doubles. Next time I'll get in earlier to try the burgers. Also very well priced, which is hard to find these days! Definitely the coolest dive bar in St. Augustine.
Great food and even better drinks! Both times we came in we were taken care of by Jill and Todd. Such a good burger and club sandwichWe will be stopping in here every time we come to st augustine.

The St. George Tavern is a grungy bar where your choice is a surprisingly good lunch or a day at the bar drinking your cares away. We chose the former. Our club sandwich was piled high with turkey, bacon, ham and cheese. Our bratwurst, slathered in a scrumptious mustard sauce, was the star. They seem to do a brisk take-out business and everything we saw being packed for delivery looked great.
