My brother-in-law knows the Carrera family and did us a huge blessing in introducing us to this wonderful wine shop. “Purple Olive never disappoints, offers a diverse menu of deliciously executed dishes, great staff and reasonably priced. Fortunately, we made reservations for opening night at new location and the food was stellar! The renovations are lovely and bar area warm and inviting. We started with a shared crab cake appetizer and pleasantly surprised. For our entrees we ordered the Mahi encrusted in macadamia nuts with a mango rum butter over jasmine rice with wok stir fried vegetables and the Korean style short rib with same rice and veg set up. No room for dessert this time, but if you haven’t tried their chocolate gateau please do, you will not regret. Kudos to Chef Peter and his staff.“

“We were here during Nights of Lights, and they were definitely decorated for the season. Our service was 100% on! Ethan was a young guy ready to serve with a smile. We had meatloaf (sooo good), shrimp and grits (husband says 5 stars), and meatballs. The warm bread was amazing. Drinks were served in festive mugs, and we were given Christmas hats that light up. We've decided this is a stop we want to bring all of our guests to experience. Definitely make this a priority!“
