My brother-in-law knows the Carrera family and did us a huge blessing in introducing us to this wonderful wine shop. The atmosphere was much more than pleasant, the people so friendly and welcoming and helpful in finding lovely wines that both matched and stretched my pallet. “Visited The Raintree Restaurant to celebrate my 40th Birthday. We were looking for somewhere that had a romantic feel, variety of food options, and great service. The Raintree offered that and more. Tim was a great waiter; very attentive and precise. We will definitely drive 3 hours to eat there again.“

Fortunately, we made reservations for opening night at new location and the food was stellar! The renovations are lovely and bar area warm and inviting. We started with a shared crab cake appetizer and pleasantly surprised. For our entrees we ordered the Mahi encrusted in macadamia nuts with a mango rum butter over jasmine rice with wok stir fried vegetables and the Korean style short rib with same rice and veg set up. No room for dessert this time, but if you haven’t tried their chocolate gateau please do, you will not regret. Kudos to Chef Peter and his staff.“

“Our favorite spot to end the day when visiting St. Augustine! The drinks are great and fairly priced. When you go, make sure to ask to sit in Will’s area. Will has always been our server when there over the past couple of years and actually remembered us a year later after our 1st week there. Maybe we spent a little too many evenings here… Nah!“
