“I have been a vegetarian since approximately 1968. It was not easy to eat out nor at other peoples houses without the constant questioning, “what’s in this?” Any meat in this? Over the years, it was more acceptable and I could find one or two dishes in every menu. Certainly there are more dishes and restaurants now. But I have been hesitant with many because I don’t want to eat something made from tofu or seitan and call it a burger or meat dish. So, I highly recommend that you eat at House of Vegano with fresh food, creative and incredible tastes, amazing choices and friendly staff that makes you feel like you are home. We are definitely coming back …with more friends!“

“My son, mom and I stopped in for an early dinner after my son's basketball game. This was our 1st time here and we absolutely loved the food. I highly recommend the "Cool ranch rider" has a nice kick to it the only thing I did differently was ranch instead of mayo and banana peppers instead of hot peppers. My son had the "Turkey bacon" minus onion and tomato as well as sub the mayo for ranch he absolutely loved it!! My mom got the "Roast Beast" loved hers as well!! We decided to try the Lemon Blueberry cheesecake, it too was delicious!! We will definitely be back!! The ladies that helped us with our order were super sweet and made us feel very welcomed!! Loved the vibe. Reggae music playing as well, just overall a great place!! We were at the 3rd Avenue location for reference!!“

“I’ve been ordering from Mr. Sushi for a few years now. I love sushi and although I’ve tried most places in St. Pete, I consistently come back to Mr. Sushi because of how fresh it is PLUS they are they are the most generous with fish portions. So many places serve rolls that are 90% rice but this is not one of them. The fish truly is the star of each roll. So grateful for an excellent, consistent sushi spot that doesn’t charge enormously for simple rolls.“

“This afternoon I joined 22 friends for High Tea at Jack's. The food was better than the High Teas I had in England. Perhaps this is due to them making everything in house: fresh baked bread for the finger sandwiches, puff pastries with cream and jam, rum spiked fruit cake...all delicious. If you've never been to England, and still want the authentic experience, gather some friends and arrange with Jack's for a delightful afternoon of tea, food and conversation.“

“Trendy Café with Very Good Food It was a rainy Saturday morning and the place was busy. No one could use the outdoor tables, so it was crowded inside. Nevertheless, things moved along quickly and we got our order in and got a table. The staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The coffee was very good. For food a Jam-on-It Sandwich which was quite nice. We also had a berry yogurt bowl. The yogurt was delicious and the fruit and granola on it were great. The scone we got, nicely warmed, was delicious. I’ll return, but I’ll try for a dry weekday.“

“A $20 corkage fee applied to any bottle of wine you purchase FROM THEIR OWN WINE LIST? This is not how a corkage fee is typically applied, and genuinely feels like a cash grab from the business. What felt like a great value on a fantastic prosecco, was quickly ruined by this fee. Excellent food and atmosphere as usual, though.“

“TWISTED INDIAN is the BEST!! This is prob my FAVE SPOT in St Pete for a quick dinner. The dishes are bangin’ and anything you try is going to taste amazing. Rich flavors and just the right spice. I’m vegetarian & always get the Seitan Korma tacos with rice & chickpeas. It’s the perfect balance of spicy & savory, then the rice, beans & slaw cool you down. “Stayed here on an overnight, hadn't been in 10 years, and I had forgotten the quaint atmosphere of this place. Combined with good food and great friendly service, it's a great stop in St Petersburg whether you stay at the hotel or not. Some good daily specials, for both food and drink. Again came face to face with NAM (which stands for Not A Moose, from what I overheard! He's a caribou!) who overlooks the bar. This place is worth a visit if you've never been here!“

“Great Breakfast Finally! A place where all parts of the breakfast were great. The eggs were right. The ham was thick and well seared. The grits, almost impossible to find good ones in Pinellas County, were perfect—not gummy, not watery, not bland. Service was friendly and efficient. The place is busy and lively and mostly clean (bathrooms could stand an updating.) Prices were fair. I will gladly return.“

“This place was good! Went here for the first time for lunch and we got a couple of things. My bf got the “I’m hungry” breakfast platter with a side of bacon. I got the dragon fruit lime refresher and the hot and crunchy bowl with added tuna. My friend got the so cal and he added tuna to that one. The food was really good! I enjoyed how fresh everything tasted. The drink was my favorite thing I got one to go as well. They play live music in there and it’s very bright and spacious. Definitely will be going back.“
