“The food is sooo GOOD! I had the wings with a side order of their French fries and let me tell you those wings are the bomb! The sauce on the wings are delicious, I also ordered the grio and side order of fried plantains the grio is so tender and cooked to perfection! The fried plantains were seasoned beautifully. I see why it's called el boom ? now! Also the lady that helped was super sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend for anyone looking wanting to try Haitian cuisine!! ❤️ ??“
“Super friendly staff with delicious food! Anna was especially helpful! She was attentive and gave us suggestions. We ended up ordering croquettes, beef empanadas, ox tail, churrasco, tres leches and ended with coladas. Would absolutely come back :)Parking: Plenty of spots available“
“I saw the great reviews and had to try this restaurant. The waitress was so pleasant, and the service was speedy. We tried the famous Cubano, and it didn't disappoint. The pork was tender, and the ham had tons of flavor. The bread was perfectly toasted, and all came together nicely. The platanos had the perfect texture and sweet taste, which I would recommend with the Cubano. The white rice and black beans were just ok.“
“Always a great experience! Delisioso Cuban Cuisine in a friendly and sophisticated environment. This location lives up to the legacy of the original Hallendale location. Been here many, many times and it never disappoints. Staff is excellent, bar tender Catherine is always a hoot and on point. Churrasco is a staple as are the Lechon Asado. Great place with a consistently great staff and tasty cuisine! Best Cuban in Dania Point! Highly Recommend!!!Parking: Plenty of free parkingKid-friendliness: Very Kid FriendlyWheelchair accessibility: Fully Accessible“
“We really enjoyed our meal! Cool night so I had a tasty soup, caldo gallego. My entree was the camarones al ajillo, succulent and flavorful. My husband had the lechon. Loved it. Bread was great too. Service was charming and efficient. We almost went back the next day! lol.Parking: Busy strip mall but lots of spaceKid-friendliness: Kids can be happyWheelchair accessibility: Looks wheelchair accessible“
“I've been going to this place and it opened and I remember years ago. The food was just all right and I just ordered food to be delivered and let me tell you it's excellent. I was quite pleasantly surprised the black beans are awesome the food taste much better than like, for example The place on State Road seven in Boca that I can't remember the name of right now. I think I have a review of it and my list of reviews don't go there whatever you do. Padrinos, that's the. Anyway, thank you La Parrilla the food is great.“
“"Attention vegans: Look no further! This spot offers not just vegan options, but an entire vegan breakfast that left me impressed. Hard to say what was better—the delicious food or the fantastic service from the owner. An amazing place that I highly recommend!“
“Had both lunch and evening tapas on a different evening. The food was outstanding. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had a cuban sandwich for lunch and it was one of the best I've ever had. The restaurant itself has a very european (Spanish) vibe).“
“My wife and I had an excellent experience, thanks first to our server, Elizabeth Nicole, who was very cordial, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was amazing, perfectly cooked pork chop, rice was well cooked and the beans, oh the beans, very tasty. We also had a rack of ribs in Guava BBQ sauce, juicy and very tender, sooo tasty. Oh, before I forget, those mojitos, man...sooo good, we will definitely come back, and not alone next time ?“
“This place is a true "hole-in-the-wall" and gem tucked in between continuous industrial sites and blue-collar businesses. The breakfast is some of the tastiest and freshest in the Pompano area.Don't miss out on the freshly squeezed orange juice. They also make some of the best cortaditos I've ever had, especially if you're a coffee guy like me.Don't expect to walk into a luxury restaurant because it's far from that, however the coziness, family-owned charm and down-to-earth ambiance makes this place special. Delicious and authentic Cuban spot!“
“I love enjoying Cuban breakfast specialties when I can get them, so when visiting the Las Olas area and seeing this place very close, I went in for some empanadas for breakfast. They have croquettes, empanadas, savory pastries, and full breakfasts, including sandwiches, even Cubanos. On my visit, I opted for a spinach and a chicken empanada, a chorizo and cheese croquette, and a beef pastry. I also ordered their spicy sauce, which was a mayo-based sauce with hardly any spice to it.The empanadas were really good, with the spinach being my favorite. The beef pastry was decent and the croquette was nice too.Service was friendly. The place was steamy hot on the morning I went, like the AC was broken. I’d definitely return when in the area though, as they have so much to try.“
“We ordered twice from here while on vacation. I didnt have high expectations since we randomly picked a quick bite at the mall. Their black beans were okay. Plaintains and yellow rice were yummy. The pulled pork though was out of this world! Portions are very generous for $10. I shared it with my two young kids.“
“Went in for some Pan Con Bistecs and my god, ??. It was amazing! Hialeah is too far for me so this was a little slice of Cuba for me. Perfect and what I expected in flavor! Hats off to them and highly recommend! Found myself a new spot to eat! Service was fast and great! Staff was awesome! Compliments to the chef!“
“They re-did the inside and I love it!!!! A warm and welcoming atmosphere and great food. They are great with my husbands pork and shellfish allergy.Dietary restrictions: They are SO good about my husbands allergies and ensuring he does not get ill.“
“Delicious Cuban coffee. I love the taste and freshness of their coffees. It's also an easy going place - never too busy nor hectic, and nice Cuban decorations on the walls. I wish their prices were a bit more modest, and then I'd eat there more often. But this is Coral Springs.....“
“Wonderful Cuban menu and food. Just what I needed and what I was looking for in South Florida. I am a repeat customer for the food that I ordered and have to tell you, this was one of the best. The yuca was wonderful with great seasoning and the fried pork fell apart in your mouth! Wonderful!“
“So good have a Cuban place close to home thanks the coffee so great recommendation I believe enhancing the restaurant's decor could create a more inviting and pleasant dining atmosphere. Investing in some decorative details could make a significant difference in the overall dining experience and attract more customers."“
“First time visiting this restaurant and it certainly won't be our last. The food was amazing, we ordered the octopus appetizer and I had the paella and my wife the skirt steak. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the portions were very generous. We started with the house Sangria and capped the night off with cheesecake and coffee. We spent almost 3 hours in this little gem and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you to the host and our servers for a wonderful evening, and we'll see you soon.“
“The food at this place has the warmth of homemade cooking, clearly made with love by Lucho. The service was excellent. I sampled the ceviche, lomo steak sandwich, and beef empanada, accompanied by a refreshing guanábana shake. Everything was delicious. Despite initial skepticism, I learned not to judge a book by its cover. I highly recommend this small business.“
“This place is a gem. I always feel at home when I come here. It’s a small place. A little hole in the wall. The staff is so sweet and kind. They treat you with kindness. The vibes are always right here. Thank you girls. I will keep coming here and enjoy the food and atmosphere.“
“Guys guys guys, this is an absolute must. If you're in the area, definitely go to this place. Pass up all the Vicky's Bakery cause this is the place for Cuban food and baked goods. Literally everything here is amazing. Service was very good, atmosphere is a little outdated but the food, baked goods and service picks up its slack. I will definitely be returning.“
“Been going to Mariachis since when it was next to the Coral Square Mall. I'm glad to still see some of the guys from 20+ years ago, still there. The owner greets you at the door most of the times and he and the staff tends to remember you from previous visits. The food is awesome, high quality and seasoned! The prices went up about 15% since the first visit.“
“First time at this place; the restaurant was clean, the food was outstanding, and the waiter (Brandon) was very attentive. Then again, there were only two or three other tables seated. Awkward ambiance for the first five+/- minutes because there was no music playing and the TVs were off. Finally, the music came on and the dining experience improved ten-fold. Meanwhile, the TVs were never turned on. Not a big deal, in fact... might even be cool to have a place with no TVs, where people are forced to interact with one another. But I digress, if you choose to have televisions in your establishment, keep them on; there's a lot you can do with them, not just have it on TV programming. Anyways, this place is absolutely fantastic and has the potential to be one of the area's best restaurants. I'll definitely be back!“
“I get what everyone says about the food.Caffe con leche love it! the steak sandwich really fulfilled my appetite. The service was welcoming , the only thing was they brought the check while the place was empty it kinda made me feel like I was kicked out of the place. I don't think I will ever go back.thats just my personal feelings about it.“
“This is a hidden Gem. Highly recommend this spot. The food was amazing in every bite. The flavor, temperature, texture, and freshness of the food was beyond great. True and authentic Caribbean flavor in the dishes here. I loved the pork chop here and the Tostones were just perfect. Crunchy but tender freshly made like it was just cut from the Platano tree. This is just hard to find in most places in Fort Lauderdale. Can't go wrong with the Cuban coffee at the end to hit the spot and end this wonderful Caribbean art display and splash of flavor on your belly. The Music and the art work makes this place cozy and comfortable.“
“The service is top notch. 5 stars. Employees are friendly and meet your needs.Food taste wonderful but have noticed since the end of the pandemic the amount of food has gotten smaller but the price has increased. But that’s the new norm.“
“I loved dining inside Las Vegas. Our server Jorge was attentive and friendly. The quality of all the food was excellent, and there is a great happy hour menu of appetizers and drinks 4-7pm every day. This is a new favorite spot. I will be back with family and friends.“
“My first time here. Small and cozy place to enjoy breakfast and lunch. I walked in and placed an ordered for Vaca Frita. She didn't hand me a receipt. In my mind how will you know who ordered what? She did take my name. I asked for a receipt she said email or text. Others are coming in and there were two ahead of me. I see them place the food on a stand behind the counter. She (different person than who took my order) asked me my name and hands me my food but again, the receipt that was attached she ripped and tossed. I get home and it's not what I ordered. It was delicious, but it wasn't what I wanted or ordered. Since I was on lunch break I couldn't return nor did I have to time for a remake of my order. Very flavorful and I would return. However, I think receipts should be given and matched so this doesn't happen again. I added the peppers (pikiliz).“

“La Bamba is a fast paced in and out kind of place. It’s great for a quickly heated hearty meal, good chips and a 6 minute turnaround on stove to table service. The margaritas are from a mix and they give you a choice of tequila. $15. The service is always friendly but we usually feel rushed to pay and leave. Even 1/2 way through the meal, I was asked if he can take my plate. Fork to mouth ! “Umm, ok”.Vegetarian options: Veggie fajitas, taco salad, nachos, quesadillas, guacamole.Parking: The parking isn’t really an issue. Close to the door fills up fast but the lot is close enough.“
“Wow! Just wow. I was extremely, but I mean extremely surprised how good my food was. I did not even check the reviews before visiting. I was picking up a kitten a few doors down and was starving. We stopped and grabbed two shakes (trigo) and Two vaca locas. It was sooo good! The shake I inhaled it! INHALED IT. it was so good I finished it in 5 mins. Normally I sip on it slowly and enjoy it with my meal. I loved it so much never stood a chance! 10/10 Then the vaca loca.. I ate it yesterday and I'm STILL TALKING ABOUT IT.#1 it's HUGE!! You can definitely share. It's not expensive at all! I mean seriously $12 is not bad at all especially how big it is . The flavor of the meat oh man... just like abuelas food. My husband is such a brat about Cuban food . Being Cuban he has high standards for Cuban food. Well he inhaled his sandwich. 10/10I highly recommend this place.“

“Home cooked by GRANDMA! I was pretty amazed stopping by this little hole in the wall. I didn't expect much of it because I don't typically go out for Cuban food being Cuban myself. I made an exception for this little hole in the wall. We were instantly greeted and felt comfortable. It got full VERY quickly. As we browsed the menu, we noticed regulars stopping by and being greeted by their first name by the staff. That's when you know, they're regulars and the food is bomb. The Cuban food was as close to Cuban as it can get, in the streets cooking for people. It had a very home cooked taste that you don't typically find in the "Cuban" chain restaurants many know of in South Florida ie La Caretta, Latin America etc. What surprised me the most was, I saw the cook coming out when the restaurant was packed and everyone was eating. Of course, you cannot guess who it was? IT WAS THE GRANDMA. Yup! No lies. A , what appeared to be a 60+ year old grandma COOKING the Cuban food by the book. She puts Nitza Villapol to shame. Jk Cubans know who that is. A part of me was grateful a grandma was the head chef because only a grandma would still cook with that much care for masses in a restaurant. The other part of me, the granddaughter side, wishes she would rest. Either way, I'm grateful she was cooking the food in this restaurant. For that alone, I would come back to that restaurant and recommend it to others. If you are looking for authentic Cuban food, Don Carlin is the place to go. Service was fantastic , food was great, restaurant was cozy but not fancy and the prices were still reasonable for this day and age.“
