“The facts:Food is healthier. The options are more limited. EX: it's taco day, and there is no condiment station for cheese, sour cream, etc. You get your lettuce and sliced tomatoes from the burger stand. The music is entirely too loud. Everyone is speaking like they're at an event, and I can still make out the music... it's like I'm at a movie theater, and the pre movie waiting music is on blast. Maybe dial it down a couple of notches when it's slow and not noisey. The staff here seem generally unhappy or reserved. Perhaps it's an off day, but I can count on one hand those that ask if you need help, are smiling, etc. Makes me reluctant to ask for food, like I've done something wrong. The environment is much better than Suwanee. It's more spacious (but not larger), it's lighter, brighter, and all together more upbeat. The crowd here is more mature as well. The room isn't filmed with students pushing past each other and laughing and carrying on obnoxiously loud, etc.I dont like that it's not self-serve except for pizza and dessert. I understand that it's to keep wastefulness down, but every time I ask for a little, I still get a lot and end up throwing half of everything I get in the trash. It would he wise to implement food portion options. Like a half serving or something.Overall, I like the ambiance better, but the vibe is all off. The modern interior and sushi bowls are what's got me sold. That and it's not slapped in the middle of dorms.Vegetarian options: Salad and whatever veggies they offer on the side of meat dishes is what you get. Must request black bean burger, meatless dishes.“
“About 5 years ago a friend brought me here. I have to admit the food and service was beyond what I expected. The food is always flavored perfectly always fresh and warm when it's supposed to be warm cold when it's supposed to be cold and fast-friendly service as well. I've been a loyal customer of theirs every since. I've been telling others so they can enjoy this delicious food also.“
“Wat better than my university cafeteria. Their service and attention to food sensitivity and allergies than many restaurants I have seen. All you can eat of all varieties in a friendly clean environment. Meal plans are not economical, but eating with dining dollars makes way more affordable.Vegetarian options: Black bean burgers, salad bar and many cooked vegetables are available.Dietary restrictions: Students with allergies are given access to a clean room with foid guaranteed to be safe.“
“Took my kids here for the buffet some years ago and didn’t enjoy it. It wasn’t a busy time of day or week so maybe we just came at a bad time. This is why I never got takeout there. However, today my go to place was closed and we all really wanted Chinese. So, I thought I’d give it another try. IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD! We got the lo mein, the chow mein, moo goo gai pan, and sautéed green beans. So flavorful! We are very pleased. My go to spot just got bumped to number two:)“
“Okay, so I've eaten here several times, and the food is always good to me. They have options you can enjoy eating whatever you are vegan, vegetarian, whatever. Forget what you heard, I've had some bad experiences, but I love ChowTime. The good outweighs the bad. Enjoy.“
“Today was the first time in awhile I had been to this restaurant... and to my surprise it was very good we were there when it opened its doors.. The food was good so I will the next time I decide to go .. Go early and enjoy food and friendly staff.. Not crowded....“
“March 22, 2024. ?? the prices don't go up. People please stop letting your adorable kid fix their over stuffed plates and not eating it.Home style cooked food and its good for the price. If you have a sweet tooth drive two hours and go to the Cheesecake Factory in Gainesville or Jonah's Fish and Grits in Thomasville, Georgia for their key lime pie or other desserts. But if you like box pastries try the peach cobbler crust and peaches with vanilla icecream. Try not to get the gooey gel off the cobbler. I'm sure it 1000% starch and HFCS....I've been here several times, especially with my kids. Great place for them to sample foods and not be wasteful. It's an old building, but they keeping clean. I think it is an old Steak & Ale from the seventies.“
