Sam's Country Buffet Reviews
First time today and Omg great food, great seating, and great service. Definitely going back.
first time good service and foodquick
We had a good experience. Spare ribs were excellent. Fried chicken was delicious. The catfish was cooked just right, but desperately needed more seasoning. Sweet tea was good. The place looked reasonably clean. The desserts were mid at best. The cake was dried out, peach cobbler was on steam line too long and had turned brown, banana pudding was not bad, but not great, sweet potato casserole was basic and had raisins in it. All in all, i would return if in the area again.

Sam's Country Buffet is a hidden gem with delicious food and excellent service. The meals are always warm and fresh, with perfect flavors. The menu features simple southern dishes like fried chicken, fried fish, gizzards, and okra, all as southern as it gets. The buffet offers a good variety of veggies and includes bread pudding for dessert, although the desserts are not the best. The restaurant is clean and kid-friendly, hosting birthday parties and offering senior discounts from the friendly owner. Guests appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the authentic country cooking that is not a Chinese buffet, despite the Chinese staff. While the food is consistently tasty and satisfying, some reviews mention that desserts can run out and that the overall decor and sanitation practices could improve. Overall, it remains a popular spot for soul food lovers in Tally.
