Went yesterday to treat myself after a long week. First time visiting. Ordered an assortment of cookies and two cupcakes. The cookies were delicious. Reminded me of the cookies my grandmother would bake. Not overdone, but not underbaked. A nice, soft texture. I love this place, best cupcakes in town. Other places make the icing and cake way too sweet. I've had a fair share of different cupcakes, and I still consider the Cake Shop my all time fav.I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I purchase cakes from here periodically for birthday celebrations at work. The cakes are always good. The desserts are good. The staff is always friendly. Recently there was a slight detail missing from one of the cakes I purchased but the baker made it right once I brought the cake back in. Great service!
