“I had lunch here last weekend and the atmosphere was very nice! The staff were very attentive and gave us great service. It appears to be a family owned restaurant and everything tasted super fresh. The heat levels were truly perfect (I prefer hot and it’s hot) lol. The menu has a lot of great options. Paul’s Fusion Kitchen might arguably have the BEST Tom Yum soup in Tampa - maybe Florida! The drunken noodles w/shrimp were divine as well. You receive nice portion sizes. I highly recommend this restaurant for lovers of Asian cuisine. Just last night I picked up 2 orders of the Tom Yum soup to go. Yes, it’s literally that good! 10/10“

“This place was kind of strange… It’s almost super authentic yet at the same time they have decided to embrace fried chicken as their main thing. The Ramen was at the same time both delicious and unimpressive… somehow the soup wasn’t that good even though everything else inside it was perfect. Maybe I went on a bad day but I think most people will have a very good experience here.“

“The fried chicken & the Bulgogi were great! I was greeted with kindness, the menu was explained to me and my food came out promptly. Anytime My Husband and I are in Tampa we will be getting Sweet Krunch; on 7th Ave. The reviews did not lie.“

“Ro is one of the top Hyde Park restaurants in Tampa and a go-to spot for incredible food and vibrant atmosphere. As a regular, I highly recommend the duck tacos—they’re packed with flavor—and their old fashioned is one of the best in the Tampa nightlife scene. The DJ nights bring great energy, and the private room is perfect for hosting events or gatherings. Whether you’re looking for a fun night out or a stylish place to dine in Hyde Park, Ro never disappoints!“

“I got the scallops entree with veggies and brown rice. It was made very well and had tons of flavor. The entree came with a “salad” that consisted of hard, yellow chunks of iceberg lettuce hearts. You shouldn’t disrespect your customers, like that. You could’ve left that part out because it screams cheap and mediocre. Elevate or just don’t serve it with your opinion of a salad. Thanks.“

“Must check your to go food they gave you all the old dry bbq. I am so disappointed 2 time now they have done this. Won’t be a 3rd. I will open every container and check going forward don’t care who is upset, it my money I am spending“
“I don’t know what kind of magic they’re working behind the counter at Perry’s BBQ, but this mall food court joint just destroyed every strip mall Chinese spot I’ve ever been to. Their orange chicken? Unreal. Crispy doesn’t even begin to describe it—it’s audibly crunchy, with that perfect golden coating that somehow stays crisp even under a sticky, sweet-tangy glaze.
But here’s the kicker: portions. These folks don’t mess around. You order a combo, and they fill that Styrofoam container to the brim. It’s basically a protein mountain—whether it’s orange, bourbon, or Mongolian chicken (all excellent, by the way), you’re walking away with a meal and a half. Maybe three tbh.
Even the fried rice is dialed in. None of that bland, dry filler nonsense. It’s savory, loaded with flavor, and honestly could stand on its own. But paired with any of their proteins? Game over.
I came for something quick. I left thinking about when I’m coming back. Perry’s BBQ isn’t just good for a mall. It’s just flat-out amazing.“

“The dumplings and baos were amazing. Next time I will try the beef bulgolgi. The yaki udon noodles were awesome, but there was flavor lacking in the whole dish, or maybe I just didn’t care for the fried shallots, which overwhelmed it. On two orders we asked for the garlic pepper sauce on the side, and that did not happen! The bubble tea was awesome. Take out and sit by the water in the public area. So awesome.“

“I like this place. Honestly, I find the Phó restaurants a bit better out in the Pacific NW area, but Simply Phó has been consistent both with food and great friendly service. I really enjoyed the Roasted Quail appetizer I ordered at my last visit.“

“Flight was delayed, was issued a $50 meal ticket by Alaska Airline so we decided to eat at PF Changs by our gate and sat at the bar. Bartender was friendly. We ordered, tempura shrimp, soup and chicken pad Thai. It was good, it was a lot of food, left with takeaway box 😄“

“Isekai is a small, friendly, family-run operation with a creative menu and top-quality ingredients. This was the first place I found in Tampa that offers toro (fatty tuna) and real wasabi. Everything I’ve tried on their menu so far, from sushi and onigiri to tempura, gyoza and chicken karaage, has been top notch. They also serve coffee, tea and boba drinks - my favorite is the Mango Passionfruit Tea with the mango chunks in the bottom. The atmosphere is cute and casual, with anime art and two screens showing anime and live action food or music videos. There are also tables available outside. I highly recommend this place.“
