Honestly - Emma could not have made the start of our trip better. One of the best servers I’ve had.
Had originally made an RSVP for Casacami and didn’t realize it was another restaurant downstairs in the Current Hotel called Julians Restaurant and I’m so glad! This spot is definitely more upscale and absolutely worth checking out. Manager Sam was very accommodating, and Magda took care of us right away. Julian Restaurant, a hidden gem in Tampa, offers excellent food and top-notch service. This restaurant, part of the Current Hotel, is a wonderful place with a beautiful location and nice views of Tampa Bay. The staff work hard to provide a memorable experience. The Julian breakfast and sea bass with wild rice are highly recommended dishes, with the sea bass being their signature dish for a reason, fantastic and very flavorful. The lobster macaroni and cheese is also very very good. The bartender does heavy pours on really good drinks. The bread and butter is really really good as well. The restaurant boasts a small but varied wine list and mocktails are super refreshing and delicious. For a 5-star meal with picturesque views in South Tampa, Julian Restaurant is the place to be. Parking is $10 to $15.
