Food was good, service was pretty good, I don't mean to sound bougie but I didn't like the food auctioning at a $58 plate restaurant. The charcuterie appetizers was phenomenal it had over 30 items.
Burgers are amazing..on the low too..Definitely a plus..2 thumbs way up.. You still have to make your own mayoKetchup..lol

Maestro's Restaurant offers a variety of dining experiences, including By the River, Restaurant, and Cafe. The By the River location had average sandwiches and terrible service, but the Restaurant and Cafe stand out for their top-notch food and attentive service. The Cafe features a gourmet buffet with options suitable for any culinary connoisseur, including a salad bar that has been well received by customers. Recently, the buffet was praised for its good selection, including shrimp, oysters, lobster bisque, prime rib, salmon, rice, salad, and dessert, with great service and decent mimosas.
The Restaurant provides great tasting entrees like duck and lamb, along with balanced and tasty cocktails. The music enhances the ambiance. The seafood bisque is very good but a bit salty, and the soup is often barely warm. While the wait staff is courteous, there is a lack of plate removal service, and they could be more attentive at times. The Cafe has a veggie bar and includes elevator access to the 2nd floor for wheelchair accessibility. However, during busy times, some entrees may run out early, and the kitchen can be slow to deliver the remaining dishes, which can cause delays. One guest had to take their meal home in a “to go box,” but the manager offered a discount for the inconvenience.
With a new chef, Maestro's Restaurant has improved its food selection, offering themed dishes to match the theater show. The antipasto table is wonderful, and there are three dessert options, although the creme brulee cheese cake may be too sweet for some. Parking can be a challenge, especially in bad weather, but it is easy to pay for parking using ParkMobile, which allows ample time before and after a show. Maestro's is a convenient place to enjoy dinner before a show at the Straz, and the staff, such as Tony, is known for providing top-notch service to ensure guests do not miss their event.
