Papa John's in Tampa

“Ordered one of Papa John’s New York style pizza. The bread/dough/crust seemed a bit tough. You really had to chew the crust to eat it. They do put the pepperoni to the edge as you can see in the photo. The price was only $10.99 + taxes. It was ready when I arrived to pick it up. It actually was better when I reheated the leftover pizza.“

“Awesome service and quality food and delivery was super fast . Had an issue with a pizza I made a phone call and the manager Sean took care of it without even basically blinking an eye . Thank you very much and we'll see you soon with our next order!“

“I would first like to share that the food was great with great presentation but what really made this experience different than others and really stood out was our delivery driver, Chad Craig. Chad went above and beyond to get us our food. The layout of my home is very off which makes it quite difficult to find the front door, as it is hidden. What I was expecting to happen was, I get a call from our driver saying “ I am here” which would have not been my front door. I heard a knock at the door, and to my surprise, it was my driver. I asked him how he found my front door jokingly. He told me how he walked around the building and right before he went to call me for directions, he tried one last way that let him to my front door. THANK YOU SO MUCH CHAD!“

“Dylan was great and made life worth living with his pizza skills. The call center said we couldn't get the flavored crust and stuffed crust at the same time. Dylan made it happen. He also saved my cat from a burning building and helped an old lady across the street at the same time (metaphorically). At least that's what this pizza taste likes thanks to him!“

“Good service and good food. Got the Large pizza 1 topping deal, and the side deals on cheese bread sticks and chocolate chip brownie. Hot and fresh, and made right. Order from here every 1-2 months and every time I order online for delivery, the food is delivered consistently fast. Today was 20mins even at dinner time rush (5:11-5:31pm). Maybe because I nearly always tip 25% ?. Several months back I made a mistake on my order and the staff were very understanding and polite as we investigated the issue; they helped me reorder it and delivered it just as quickly as the first order. I also appreciate the tracking functionality, whether online/web or via text. Very satisfied. P.S. - the brownie is Delicious with a capital “D!” ??“

“I ordered a pizza about 30 minutes before they closed. I went to the wrong papa John’s but the current one I’m at offered to make it because they’re open later than than the 7891 Gunn hwy location. I got a phone call from Phil I believe asking if I was coming in before they closed for the night. I told him about my mix up and he was so understanding. So kind over the phone, this guy is killing it as well as the lovely people at 4231 Gunn Hwy location. Thanks guys!“

“I ordered food for pick up July 19, 2025, when I got there only one person (Rebecca) was working, I have to commend her for her great personality and speed, orders were coming. And her took care of all four people in the lobby. My only question was why only one person working, again I thought she did a great job. Please get the lady some help especially at the busy times of the day.
Great job Rebecca and yes I would recommend this store on North Florida Avenue in Tampa Florida, they always do a great job. Two thumbs up and five stars!!!“

“Food was fine, but it took 3 minutes to get thr attention of an employee in site because he was starring at his phone with ear buds in. I kept saying hello over and over again, but I was helped by another staff member who was actively working hard since the other was too busy playing on his phone.“

“The young man with the curly hair who got us our pizzas was also the only one in the store making them and taking phone calls and orders, yet he got our hot and tasty pies courteously with a smile as usual. We come here every Thursday and love seeing his smiling cheeerful person. Hope he gets a raise soon!“
