I'd likely not opt for the 1/4 chicken again as it was just okay due to being on the dry side.The surprise was the sausage sandwich. The Choripan. Wow! Might just be the best sausage sandwich I ever had. The combination of a quality link on the perfect texture of bread with the toppings, amazing. I will certainly return for the Choripan (sausage sandwich).On an interesting side note. After dark, several rats run around the exterior of the screened in patio area. That's interesting to watch as one zooms by every 10 minutes. Hopefully they remain outside and not in the food prep areas!Overall. 4 star service and environment. 3 star chicken. 5 star Choripan sausage.“
“Needed a good steak to make up for a deperation steak from Down Under that didn't really cut it. Remembered this location was open and close so i headed off. Got there late and was afraid I wouldn't be in time to eat in, but they got me seated, fed and out the door without feeling rushed. Ribeye was delicious and at temp as well.“
“Do you like real BBQ? JP's has it! James is working the smoke. We had brisket and pork ribs. My vegan wife actually converted to meat eater because of JP's ribs. The meat falls off of the bone but still retains it's chew. The sides are very fresh. We tried the beans, greens, and cole slaw. The slaw has a kick that we loved. It made me sweat more than the Tampa heat. If you want some amazing BBQ, don't go corporate. Go to JP's BBQ and grill. James and family will take good care of you. PS It is a small place, so take it to go.“
“Okay so I had stopped in here randomly for a lunch break.I ended up ordering the pork tacos but I received the wrong order. Looks like I ended up with a trio platter instead. NOT complaining at all. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. What an incredible place to try on a whim.Staff was really nice as soon as I opened the door. Portions were very good. Prices were a tad more than I thought. My lunch was around $20 with a side and a drink. That being said, I’m still incredibly satisfied with what I got. Couldn’t ask for more honestly.10/10 all the way around.“

“Had a pork sandwich for lunch with some coleslaw while vacationing here. Meat was flavorful and juicy. Coleslaw was AMAZING! This ain’t no KFC! We heard that people line up around the block for food here as they are open only on Friday and Saturday. We happened to come on a Cold and cloudy Friday, so we had a minimal wait. Worth the stop. And the people serving and cooking - Super friendly. Felt really welcome.“

“The food at Ozona Pig was really good, portions were appropriate, and the price was Def reasonable.I would recommend anyone interested in some good BBQ to head over to Ozona.I didn't have the opportunity to sit outside, but they have lots of outside seating, and they're pet friendly.4/5 on the food just because the chicken was a bit on the dry side and lacked seasoning ( for me), but it wouldn't deter me from going back. It was probably just one of those days.Their Chicken Wings ! Those were really good. RecommendRIBS, hmm, those were delicious, soft, tender, and just really well seasoned.. “We went on Sunday and they only serve spa Brunch. I had the Salad with Shrimp which was very good . The shrimp were big and tasty. My husband had the Banana Bread French Toast. It was good. Our waiter was very good. Negative was the noise. Very noisy in main dining room.“
“Wonderful experience with Brandy and Joanna, our bartenders pictured below. We were treated like old friends as soon as we came in. Every staff member was friendly and fun. They all checked on us to make sure we were happy, including Toni, the floor manager.The food was excellent and presented well. The beer and wine selection was good. The prices were reasonable, especially the dry-rubbed wings at 99 cents each.This was exactly the experience that we hope for when we go out. Friendly, fun staff and great food and drinks. I would recommend the Smokehouse and will go back whenever we get a chance.“
“1st time coming here and I'm so happy I did, we found our perfect bbq spot! I had a special today , it was the stuffed pineapple with pulled pork, absolutely amazing and a very large portion. We also ordered the smoked brisket meal with mac and cheese and coleslaw and the professional chef who ate it said it was absolutely perfect! We will me coming back to support Robert and his small local restaraunt!“
“Honestly can’t say enough great things about the food and service. My husband and I make a trip to Reel BBQ every time we visit family in Florida. The brisket grilled cheese is divine but if you’re looking for something a little different with some kick to it, the jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage sandwich with mustard bbq sauce is a show stopper. The service is always fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again.“
