“I didn’t know what all the hype was about until I had their medium spicy garlic butter crab legs. I’ve seen Florida ladies going crazy over this dish and I thought calm down it’s just crab legs. Well this is a whole new level of crab legs seafood boil. I was served this for Mother’s Day. It’s my new favorite spot“

“We had a great experience last night with our server, Ryan. In the past, we've had this other server who tells really bad jokes and tries to upsell you at every turn. We were seated in his section, and if he had been assigned to us, we were going to ask to be moved. We heard him doing his schpiel with the other tables around us; the usual M.O: trying really hard to charm the customers with his purposely bad jokes (i.e.: "Where does the Dad store his jokes --- in the DAD-abase"). On a more serious note, he is always making reommendations which (not surprisingly) don't appear on the menu, so there's no idea how much they cost. If you order any sort of whitefish, he will always try to talk you into getting the Chilean Sea Bass, and along with the Rockefeller topping is "the greatest meal you'll have here". No mention of the price on that one, but trust me, I'm sure it is incredibly expensive. We heard him discussing a bill dispute at a neighboring table, where an item appeared on their bill that they did not order. They also questioned a charge for a salad that did not come with their order, that was an extra charge. I can imagine that he probably "suggested" the salad to go with it, without mentioning the fact that it was an extra charge. This was an elderly couple, and to me, this seemed like a situation of a manipulative server taking advantage of vulnerable seniors. In short, avoid the guy with the corny jokes, and if you do get him, expect that he will upsell you multiple times during your meal. Just say no. :-)“

“We were a party of four dining towards closing time on a Thursday evening. Best crab dinner, highly recommend the King crab combo! We also ordered calamari, Buffalo wings (huge) and catfish with fries. Everything tasted super fresh, was served hot and the flavors of the sauces were memorable. Gio was super attentive at exactly the right times without being intrusive, super friendly and super careful about every menu item once we told him one of us had a shellfish allergy. The owners were also amazingly friendly and helpful.
We would go back to Crafty Crab every time one of us wants crab.“

“They have a good amount of seafood available. Open later than grocery stores, and are fast at handling. Somewhat pricier than grocery store however higher quality and fresher. They also have a restaurant inside. Pretty nice store. Will be returning.“

Only thing that upset me about this restaurant is the drinks aren't priced fairly THREE DOLLARS FOR A TWELVE OUNCE CAN OF Jipina is INSANE! Our local Haitian market not to far from the restaurant sells them for a DOLLAR! THERES NO WAY! But I love my Haitian people and support Haitian business but we got to do better in certain areas of morality. This was criminal. A week after Helene we were hard pressed to find something open or a full menu available or accepting credit cards...etc. Lolis isn't the most aesthetically pleasing venue, because it's a counter where you place orders and a very modest dining room where the food is brought to you when ready. On the front counter is a plastic utensil dispenser next to one delivering a napkin per pull.

If you don't care about any of that but love authentic Mexican food, then you're in luck! As I wrote, we had a large group and most ordered different items. All of us agreed the offerings were made from fresh, high quality ingredients. Even something as simple as queso and chips was great with corn, onion, a few other vegetables mixed in the cheese. It's a bit pricey for an establishment with its "look" however you'll get premium taste for that $12-$20 per person!

Parking: Parking lot is somewhat small because the property is a strip mall and there are other businesses; however some of the post-Milton damage may have obscured some spots.“

“My husband and I took a road trip to FL. We were staying in Tampa and i wanted to try some Chinese food. Boy am I glad I stopped here. Hands down the best BBQ boneless ribs combo. The pork fried rice was flavorful, and the pork was chopped in thin pieces just how I love eating it and service was quick. I could eat that combo every day. It did not disappointment me.“

“This used to be the top dim sum in the Tampa Bay Area. I’ve noticed a few of the most popular dishes needs a little bit of tweaking. Xiu Mai as well as the fried turnip cake is dry. If these 2 dishes can be fixed, I believe the restaurant will regain a lot of their customers. New dim sum places have popped up and have overstepped Ho Ho only because they’ve managed to make these two dishes extra tasty ;-)“

“Just left Grand Hacienda at Tyrone Mall in St Petersburg and was introduced to one of the best meals that is on their special menu introduced today. It is the birria ramen!! absolutely delicious. The flavor is amazing and it has pieces of tender birria beef found in their special tacos. It’s being prepared for a short period of time. Go try it…..you will love it!!“
