“On June 16, we went to Kaluz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. We are regulars at Kaluz to the point where we have the cell phone numbers of several employees. In a nutshell, Anthony, the manager, should not hold that position in a restaurant like Kaluz. My husband and Anthony exchanged words and Anthony’s solution to the issue was telling us, “You should not come back here. The owners do not want parties larger than five people.” My jaw dropped. I could not believe that a manager’s solution to an issue about seating us sooner, while we waited for two other people in our party, especially since my 85-year-old mother could not stand for long, was to tell us, on two separate occasions, that we should not come back. Anthony also put the entire blame on the owners of the restaurant. We go to Kaluz almost on a weekly basis, tip extremely well and have taken countless people there that have also ended up being regulars at Kaluz. No restaurant manager should EVER tell a customer, regular or not, to not come back regardless of the issue. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Kaluz as long as Anthony continues working“

“We had the best dinner at a local Plantation restaurant - we highly recommend Burtons Grill & Bar! The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating and even the Manager came over to our table to thank us. I had a beautiful (large) salad topped with Thai steak and it was healthy and delicious. Ron almost always orders a burger and it was cooked perfectly with a large amount of awesome fries. The nice thing we liked about it, also, is that there is a lovely outdoor patio with fans and very comfortable. “Hole in the wall vibes, right off the beach. I LOVE the pizza, & compared to the other restaurants here the price is pretty affordable. Most authentic pizza I’ve been able to find in America. The crust is a perfect combo of floppy & crunchy. & even just the cheese pizza is super yummy! Service is amazing & super friendly.“

The management team and staff are top notch. We took mom for her 78th bday and had an issue with our reservation. Ian and team went above and beyond and I mean way above and beyond to rectify the issue. I felt like we were in a top notch county club with all of the staff taking care of us. J Alexander’s is the real deal company. They actually care about their guests. That’s hard to find nowadays. We will be back and continue to tell everybody about how phenomenal the management, service and of course the delicious always consistent food is.“

“We started with the guacamole which as always was delicious. The sweet potatoe chips that come with it are a must try. The west coast steak sandwich never disappoints. The kale slaw they put on it makes this sandwich hard to beat. Our friends had the chicken kebabs which are also fabulous and a nice size portion. My husband had the meatball which he loved. The only sort of negative thing is I would not go back on my birthday. Not that I need a free dessert but its a nice touch that they don't do. They did put a candle in the dessert we ordered but a small free scoop of ice cream or even a small dessert not on the menu goes a long way in my opinion.“

“Great place. I had the Cheesesteak project. The bread was fresh and toasted. The sandwich was big enough for two. Ton of meat and cheese. The meat is so tender. I also had the white truffle Mac and cheese. It was o full or flavor and was o creamy. My wife ordered the Bourbon Cowboy burger. It was cooked to perfection. It had two patties each so we could have shared.
The place is crazy decorated in kind of a car fabrication style. Go and check this place out.
