“I just celebrated my birthday with 3 of my friends at Epazote. The food was incredible we left so full! The staff were all friendly, kind and patient! The restaurant is small but it gave such a cozy warm vibe that I loved it! We had the Taquiza (assorted taco platter) as an appetizer and it was so much food! We also had guacamole and the Queso Fundido (OMG gooey delicious cheese!) Even though we barely had room for anything else, we also ordered main dishes that we knew we’d have take home. The Pescado Frito (grilled whole snapper) was phenomenal. The fajitas came out sizzling and steaming. The Quesabirrias were so flavorful and the consume is to die for. You can tell they use fresh homemade ingredients and infuse everything with love and passion. I can’t wait to come back for Taco Tuesday snd Margarita Monday!“

“Was looking forward to the Ceviche I had on our first night on vacation. I came back to have the Ceviche again a few days later since I loved it so much and the Ceviche was completely different. All shrimp…. Did not even taste like Ceviche. Was sooo disappointed. I wish they would have told us before we ordered or I would have gotten something else instead. Let your customers know if the menu changes. I walked through high winds and rain to come back to this restaurant before flying back home.“

I recently visited CT Cantina at Dania Pointe and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun—the vibe and music on Friday night were energetic (a bit loud, but part of the lively ambiance). Service was spot-on: fast, attentive, and our drinks were refilled promptly without having to ask.

What stood out:

The salsa game is strong—super flavorful and authentic. The only downside: the bright red overhead lights made it impossible to distinguish which salsa was which, since they all looked red.

Fresh chips and multiple dips were a treat—though I found them slightly oily, they still had great crunch and taste.

Tacos were solid but had some quirks: the flour tortillas were surprisingly thick, and they shrunk in size compared to past visits. The chicken felt a touch too salty and a bit dry. Still, flavors were enjoyable overall.

On the downside, there was no dessert station anymore—apparently your favorite dessert has been removed. That was a bummer, especially since you used to love it.

Summary:
CT Cantina & Taqueria delivers great ambiance, helpful staff, fast service, and excellent salsas and chips. While the tortilla texture and smaller portions with slightly salty chicken dragged the experience down a bit—and losing the dessert option was disappointing—it’s still worth a visit. Hoping they bring back that dessert station soon!

“These are by far the best tacos I’ve ever had. Very authentic street tacos that make you feel like you’re right at home. Definitely try out the Al Pastor and Chorizo tacos. Owner is a sweetheart and actually cares about the quality of food she makes. I’ve recommended this place to multiple people and will continue to do so.“

“The food at El Guanaco is the best hands down. I refer people all the time for food . We have been going a few years but not much the last few months due to the service. Sometimes you can put up with mediocre service because the food is so good . But today was the second time service was subpar… Today we waited 20 minutes and still no order taken ….There was another table with no beverages that was sat before us . We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. The food is the best but not going back anytime soon to dine in …Food 5 ⭐️ service 3⭐️…..“

“Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The food was amazing. We ordered filet mignon, chicken, and enchiladas. I was going elsewhere, saw this restaurant sign, and ended up trying it out. Im glad I did because this is a restaurant I am willing to come again just because the food was that amazing. The filet and chicken were sweet savory and melted in the mouth. Also, the guava cheesecake is made in house and was also on-point!“

“Yum yum yum !!! Wheeew! So I usually drive far to get ACTUAL FLAVOR in tacos. But they have the flavor on lock and I am sooooo glad this is like 10 min from me 🤭. I get the steak tacos with everything and horchata! I recently got Flan and cheesecake because they make it fresh there and it was delicious, I just wish the flan had more of the sweet sauce. “I have loved this restaurant since 2000!!! I used to work nearby. I just went yesterday and it is STILL exactly the same deliciousness I always get carne asada it comes with cheese enchilada, rice, beans, and guacamole and sour cream. I always switch the yellow rice and black beans to white rice and cheesy refried beans. They are fast to serve the food and never have I ever anything but perfect service.
