Gator's Dockside Windermere Reviews
If you come in on a Friday night and sit at the bar. You will spend hours being blasted with high volume music that create an unpleasant environment. For multiple songs in a row registering at 115db. Which is hearing loss range.
DO NOT COME HERE !!! My husband and I ordered a wing platter this evening. Unfortunately, the food wasn't cooked 100%. Once I took a bite out of my dish , blood came pouring out ! How disgusting ! I haven't been well ever since !

Gator's Dockside Windermere is a popular restaurant known for its friendly atmosphere and good food. It is a great spot for groups, especially after kickball games, as the staff handles large walk-in tables and rowdy groups well. The patio seating is a nice feature, especially in springtime. The menu includes dishes like fish & chips, which many find excellent, and gator burgers made with a mix of pork and gator, described as mild and rich. Customers appreciate the consistency of the food quality.
The service experience varies. Some guests receive attentive and friendly service, with staff like Tiffany providing excellent care that keeps them coming back. However, others find the service to be inconsistent or lacking; there are reports of long wait times, no greeting, and minimal interest from staff. Sometimes, orders are incomplete, such as missing tartar sauce, forks, or napkins.
Despite occasional service issues, the restaurant has shown willingness to make things right, even going above and beyond, like delivering a corrected order personally to a customer. Overall, Gator's Dockside Windermere is appreciated for its good food, fun atmosphere, and efforts to recover from mistakes, making it a favorite for many locals.
