Tapestry at The Old Mill

We arrived at 12:00, and it was 1:00 before our orders were taken. I ordered Fried Pickles, and they were terrible. The were greasy, and the breading was thick and gooey. The shrimp taco was ok, but the aioli was room temperature. A mayonnaise based sauce was not a good choice for a taco. There were only two other people in the whole restaurant. That was a red light. Will not go back.

We were fans when it was Gabriel's, I decided to give it a try with the new owners. First off we stood around for a few minutes after getting there because there was no one at the hostess stand. The food was really good. I got the Copacabana, it's listed to have smoked pork loin, pulled pork, Fried pickles and cheese. I never found the pulled pork though. The fries were phenomenal. Unfortunately this place did not live up to what i was hoping. We had great service. Nothing wrong there, our server was very attentive. However, my food was just off. I had the pork loin with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. The pork loin had an odd gravy with chunks of pineapple in it. The description did say pineapple but I though like pineapple juice in the glaze. The sautéed spinach had a lot of large chunks of garlic in it and I like garlic but it was to overpowering....read full review
