The Catch Seafood and Oyster Bar provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for diners. The restaurant's menu features a variety of seafood dishes, including deep-fried lemon pepper shrimp, lobster egg rolls, blackened crab claws, shrimp and grits, and buck town shrimp. Customers praise the fried crab claws, lump crab cakes, blackened snapper, grilled Mahi with cherry maple glaze, and the delicious shrimp and grits. The staff, known for their attentive service, aim to give a pleasant dining experience and are responsive to feedback, making adjustments when needed. The restaurant also offers a full-service bar with reasonable prices, making it popular among locals and visitors alike. Recent visitors highlight the food’s high quality, especially the calamari and fried green tomatoes with delicious batter, and the perfectly cooked blackened grouper and snapper, which are well seasoned and served with two sides. The sides, such as crispy hush puppies, flavorful cheese grits, crunchy coleslaw, sweet potato soufflé, and honey Brussels sprouts, are highly praised. The citrus vinaigrette on the salad is noted as one of the best dressings ever tasted. Customers also enjoy the private event space for special occasions. Desserts like blueberry cake are visually appealing, though some feel the cake lacks blueberry flavor and is overly topped with icing and whipped cream. Despite this, the overall experience remains positive, with many satisfied with the quality of food and eager to return. The restaurant’s food tastes five-star to many, and the variety of dishes makes it a great choice for seafood lovers seeking a memorable dining experience.
