Athens Pho Reviews
One of my absolute most favorite restaurants! I hit the jackpot having Athens Pho around the corner from my work. Growing up, I was so used to visiting Buford Highway and choosing from a variety of food choices. Pho Bac was one of my favorite once our other favorite Vietnamese restaurant closed and not I feel lucky to have Athens Pho around the corner. Really good pho. Huge portions for a good price. I got the large pho and I could barely finish it (I usually get a large when I go to pho places at pleasant hill or that area!) My wife got the fried chicken rice plate and she loved it. Grilled pork banh mi was absolutely amazing. I'm glad to have a legit pho spot in Athens so I don't have to drive to Duluth all the time!
ATHENS Pho has the best pho ever! The broth is so good by itself, that I hesitated to add the basil, lime and bean sprouts. Banh Mi is wonderful. The food came super fast. Andy was such an attentive host. Give this place a try. We will definitely come back in our travels.

Athens Pho is a favorite restaurant for many, offering delicious Vietnamese food in Athens. One reviewer says it is their absolute most favorite restaurant and feels lucky to have it around the corner from work. The stir-fried lemongrass tofu (Dau Hu Xao Sa Or) took them back to childhood, with phenomenal seasoning and battering of the tofu, enough for two meals and just as delicious reheated. The Bun Cha Gio Chay (Vegetarian Tofu & Egg Role Vermicelli) hit the spot. Another reviewer calls it really good pho with huge portions for a good price. The large pho was almost too much to finish. The fried chicken rice plate was loved, and the grilled pork banh mi was absolutely amazing. One reviewer says Athens Pho has the best pho ever, with broth so good by itself that they hesitated to add the basil, lime and bean sprouts. Banh Mi is wonderful, and the food came super fast. Another got the bbh, spring rolls, and chicken noodles, recommending glass noodles instead of normal pho noodles for the chicken pho. The owner offered to walk them to their car with an umbrella. The restaurant makes delicious Vietnamese food with authentic condiments, great service and decent owners. The soup was as good as any soup in the Arlington, VA Eden Center. Extra hot sauce brought delicious chilie oil. Even when slammed, servers did their best with kindness and compassion, accommodating special needs. One reviewer tried the shaking beef and it was so delicious. The staff and atmosphere was amazing, and a waitress was terrific, sweet and very patient with an elderly father. Athens Pho has gained a new fan.
