New Red Bowl Reviews
Simply amazing. Behold, the Spicy Seafood Clay Pot (or #5 under New Red Bowl Specialties on the menu)... Big fat shrimp and scallops, mushrooms, broccoli, flavorful sauce with a little bit of spice. I've yet to be disappointed with this place.
July 2026- first visit in a few years for some reason. Went with the Rainbow roll and the beef dry pot off the szchechuan menu. Amazing!
The Szechuan menu here is top notch. If you're ordering from any other part of the menu, you're missing out on what makes this place great. Try the dry pot, try the dry fry, and give the stir fried baicai a shot! That said - the rest of the menu is still fantastic, it's just less unique. This is a go-to restaurant for my family and for when visitors are in town.

New Red Bowl offers a variety of dishes, with many being truly delicious and unique. The shrimp walnut dish is a savory standout, and the pork gyoza is a hit. The restaurant provides convenient to-go cups, a small but appreciated touch. While some dishes, like the Black Pepper Chicken, may be a miss, others have improved over time. The veg. egg rolls are a highlight, and the service is good, with attentive waiters ensuring drinks and appetizers are served quickly. The food is fresh, and the portion sizes for entrees are great, often leaving leftovers. Favorites include sesame chicken, Sichuan beef, and orange peel chicken, along with the perfect fried rice that is never overcooked or mushy, and fresh veggies. Although the restaurant itself is nothing special and the staff are average, it remains a good place to dine. It is accessible with ample parking, a ramp to the curb, and a double door entrance, making it convenient for everyone. The restaurant is also recommended for fans of Asian cuisine, with options like bento boxes, sushi rolls, and a hot pot.
