The Sultan

I love this place! I tried the baba ganoush (sp?) and pita chips from the farmer's market and had to see where it came from. The flavors are amazing. The owner may appear gruff but he's truly kind, just not over the top. He answered all my questions about the food and beverages, and I even tried jalab on a whim- it was outstanding! For some reason, i'm usually the the only person here which makes for a great setting to read a book and have a nice meal. Highly recommended!

The food is incredible, especially for the price. I had family visit and ordered takeout from The Sultan and they talked about it for weeks! The service is incredible and the food is impeccable, they even serve homemade feta!

I read the reviews before I went to The Sultan for lunch. After my experience I cannot understand the bad reviews. The owner is a very quiet, reserved gentleman who takes pleasure in discussing food. He is quite knowledgeable. He is not overly familiar at first, he is matter of fact. He speaks in a quiet voice so understanding him can be a tad difficult at times.
