Great food, the sauce is delicious and I wish it could be sold in the store.
I worked at American Deli (2457 MLK DR)two different times. This second time I quit because the management sucks. Mr Chuni stole money out of my paycheck saying the draw was short every single day I closed. He also took my pay down from 13 to 11 dollars because I quit. They have roaches every where in the back all in the ice machine. They have immigrants working in the back that get drunk on the clock and harass the women employees. American Deli is known for having the "best size wings" with plenty of meat. The honey lemon pepper wet wings and Philly steak combos are particularly popular. The peach item is also a favorite. However, some customers find the service slow and wish the cooking process could be more efficient, especially since they sell a lot of wings. Despite this, the staff, including the front lady, are generally noted as being nice. Parking is convenient with spots available right out front.
