When the dining area behind the kitchen is open, and the employees haven't taken it over as a break room; it is a great place to get away from the craziness of the airport. The food is what you'd expect at an Atlanta Bread. The service is inconsistent. A lot of times, when a manager is absent, the employees seem to be more interested in their own conversations and their smart phones over helping customers.
If you’re not expecting wow, then this is a four-star place but if you are expecting wow, then this is a three star. The tuna salad sandwich needs more flavor, but it is fair with chips for the price and location. Chili was edible. The salad is very simple but healthy and healthy options are appreciated in a land of unhealthy. The speed was fair. The highlight was the dessert options which were all tasty. I recently ordered take-out, Chicken Waldorf sandwich, from Atlanta bread&bar, and I was disappointed with my sandwich. Unfortunately, it was quite off-putting.I believe in giving feedback to help improve the overall dining experience, even with take-out orders. I hope the restaurant takes this as an opportunity to enhance their food quality and packaging for take-out customers. While the staff was friendly during the order pickup, the sandwich experience left much to be desired.
