It’s been a while since I have been to Black Bear Tavern. To my surprise, EVERYTHING is still amazing.
Black Bear still provides a casual very laid-back type of environment. This was perfect as my friends and I had a long week and just wanted to partake in great laughs with great food… Upon walking in, the bartender welcomed us and advised us to sit where we would like. All of the empty tables were clean which made me very happy. LoL!

Great neighborhood spot! We’ve been a few times for lunch and the food has been delicious every time. It’s walking distance from home, has a great Chicago vibe, and is a fun place to watch a game. We’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely fabulous. Man, they give you so much food that I was ready to keel over halfway through but it was yummy. Kind service. Solid nostalgic sports bar
