Helen, at the register, was an absolute standout! She noticed me waiting and swiftly made sure I was taken care of. That sort of attentiveness and easy friendliness is rare and makes you want to come back. And the food? Delicious and fresh (the french bread in particular is perfection - light and chewy). My meals were also surprisingly affordable. 2 sandwiches and a latte for $20 is unbeatable. It’s rare to find a café where the quality, the service, and the price all hit the mark at once. “I stopped in for lunch while in the area. I rarely get a burger out. It was hot, cheesy and delicious. I recommend this spot. The staff is lovely and the dining area was clean with plenty of seating. I sat and worked while my lunch was prepared. Don’t drive by!!! stop in you won’t regret it.“

“Delicious. I got the veggie plate, which was 11.95 for 4 side veggies and a piece of corn (pancake?). The cabbage, green beans and collared greens were cooked well and flavorful. All different textures to compliment the veggies. The mac and cheese was baked and comforting.

Tough for me was that everything was boxed in Styrofoam, including their drinks. They helped refill my water bottle, but only if they handed me a Styrofoam cup. Technically, these are better choices than the polypropylene black boxes other vendors are using since neither can be recycled.“

I grabbed the triple-decker club, and it was fantastic—piled high with meats, stacked just right, and seriously tasty. Honestly couldn’t believe it was under $8. That kind of quality at that price is almost unheard of these days. If you’re anywhere nearby, this place is 100% worth a stop. Great value, great sandwich. I’ll definitely be back.“
