“This was one of the best places as a whole that I’ve ever been to! This includes across the entire US, Europe and Central America! I’d recommend everything g, but the soup was to die for! The staff and especially Kameel are amazing as well. A sign inside says “we love you,” and Kameel can be seen telling his customers he loves them as he fist bumps! It’s such a warm and inviting atmosphere! Everyone should make a stop here regularly! I wish I was a local because I’d be a regular! “My wife and I love Mediterranean food so we were excited to try Ela after driving past it several times.

The service was as good as I’ve had recently and the vibe was fantastic.

I had a few of the Negronis which were excellent and my wife enjoyed the Capri Son.

We had the brussels, cauliflower falafel, tamarind-date pork with greens (my favorite dish of the night although too spicy for my wife), the black pepper lamb on a pita, and the Greek donuts.

Felt it was a bit pricey but the service, cocktails, and environment were exceptional.“

We came on a random hunt after a beautiful afternoon walking in downtown ATL. We were greeted by beautiful hostess who explained we came during happy hour & sat us outside. We enjoyed a few apps, & drinks. My drink the Serenade was particularly yummy, In a new florally distinct way. My partner enjoyed the wine can’t recall the name but the one with cinnamon notes that’s YUMMY! The food was great. We tried the mushroom fritters & spanakopita. & oh yeah the welcome dish! “If I could give Hovan 10 stars I would. Super friendly and welcoming staff, fresh and delicious food, the interior is clean and well kept. I have been eating at Hovan since it was at the mall many years ago and I will continue to frequent is often as I am in Brookhaven. Everything is made fresh and you can taste it- the stand outs are: the Vegetarian Roll, the Shawarma, the potato salad, the hummus, and the Tabbouleh.“

“Overall very flavorful food. The hummus was excellent, featuring high quality oil and really good pita to go along with it. The lamb kabobs were huge and really well seasoned. Greek potatoes were also cooked perfectly, well seasoned and crispy. Tatziki sauce also was really good. Prices are a little steep for some of their plates, but there were some less expensive options available as well. The quality here is a lot higher, however, compared to lower priced mediterranean restaurants in the area.“

We ordered the Mezze Platter, Octopus, and the Lamb Shoulder... all of which were big conversations at the table because we enjoyed them so much.

“Beautiful establishment. Made reservations for a birthday dinner for my bestie, and we both enjoyed it. The service was phenomenal, and the food was so good. The portions were very generous. I appreciate the level of attention we received from all the staff. It's like everyone was contributing to ensure the guests were properly assisted. The valet service was reasonable and convenient. Decent music as well. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Tried the Flying V and it was unexpectedly flavorful and filling! The herb pita bread was a nice touch. Pickled veggies were definitely better than chips, which were hard to skip since I'm a carboholic! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!“

William was great in working with my budget and the items I wanted as well as the timeframe to have the order ready. The morning of, there was some confusion on our end and we hit panic mode calling the restaurant thinking we were missing a whole tray. Lisa was absolutely a God-sent! She looked everywhere and checked with everyone to make sure the trays all left and even then started preparing another tray just in case. She could've easily said we sent it all and we're busy now. Her confidence and helpful nature saved the day! I would recommend working with this location on all your catering orders - they make it so easy and I don't even have to mention - THE FOOD IS A HIT WITH EVERYONE!!!!!“

“An absolute hidden gym. Some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in Atlanta. Everything is always so fresh, the owner is so kind, and the food is DELICIOUS! I used to eat here all the time when I lived in the area, now it’s an extra special treat when I get to have it. The chicken kabob is my go to, and you can’t go wrong with any of the sides. My mouth is watering just typing this out. Might have to go get some right now!“
