The Plug at The Tavern Reviews
I took a few of my homeboys we went there several times and the service was great. I took my cousin he went couple times. We were shocked to see that it was closed this past week so hopefully they’ll reopen up and we can get more great service.
First time coming to this spot, the music was nice I order the 1/2 rib and wings and the seafood platter. The ribs was ok and the wing which was lemon pepper was over over season, but the catfish nuggets, shrimp was delicious. We know what to get the next time we come tho.
The service was definitely not the best. Our waitress never came to refilled drink’s, they charge you 18% service fee and they do not tell you until after they have put it on the receipt. And the waitress was not the friendliest. I do not think that we will be back.
The Plug at The Tavern is a lively spot known for good music, a friendly crowd, and a strong drinks selection. The service has received mixed reviews; some praise the attentive and friendly waitstaff, while others mention less attentive experiences. The menu offers a variety of options, including the 1/2 rib and wings, seafood platter, catfish nuggets, and shrimp, with some dishes being more enjoyed than others. The ribs and wings are decent, but the lemon pepper wings can be over-seasoned. Sauces like ranch, blue cheese, and BBQ are highly appreciated. The venue hosts events such as the Sanctuary Men's Ministry on Mondays, welcoming all men to get a word in season. Overall, The Plug is a place with a good atmosphere, music, and a crowd that enjoys a lively night out, despite occasional service hiccups.
