I have been here twice when going through Atlanta. On my first visit the service was slow and unfriendly, and they were out of many things on the menu so I chalked it up to showing up there at 8 pm and was grateful to get some food at that hour. The second time I was there at a normal lunch time and the service was just as slow and unfriendly. I had a cucumber roll the first time and a poke bowl the second time. Umaizushi is an airport sushi restaurant with a mixed reputation. While the food is generally tasty, the portions are small, and the prices are high due to the airport location. The service is friendly, but the staff can be overworked. For a quick sushi fix at the Atlanta airport, Umaizushi may be an option. The tuna poke bowl was really good and the bartender was very nice. Wes is a great bartender with a great sense of humor. The sushi pieces are good and it is very solid airport sushi. A roll comes with 8 pieces and has a good amount of sushi compared to traditional places. There is a good amount of salmon in the salmon roll. It is a counter and a few tables in a very busy airport.
