“This place is legit on Funk Fridays. Loved the outdoor seating area and the staff was super informative and friendly. The grazing board was delicious and unique in the arrangement of cheeses and meats. Great ambiance. The flies got a little crazy gathering around your food and drink if you sit outside. So be sure to get a table fan to keep them away if you sit outside, as that was helpful for us! We loved the funky wine flights and the great selection of wine! The side saddle burgers were juicy and delicious as well. Unfortunately the chicken wings left a lot to be desired in terms of texture and flavor. The green chimichuri sauce they top the wings with was too oily and it just seeped into and overpowered the wings.“

“Larakin is by far my favorite wine bar. Great vibe and love sitting outside lifted up from the street. When I’m there it feels like I’m at European bar enjoy my walkable urban lifestyle. Everyone who works there is so friendly and knowledgeable. You should definitely add Larakin to your afternoon / evening roster of places to meet friends or hang out and enjoy a good book.“

Brandon and the staff from valet, the front desk, the restaurant, to the housekeeping staff are all so friendly and accommodating. We unexpectedly needed to extend our stay. Had some coffee and an Avocado toast (probably one of the tastiest and nicest presentation I’ve ever seen). My waitress, Jada, was absolutely lovely, kind and warm. “This place was great! After an experience next door we crashed here and was NOT disappointed. We were greeted and reviewed the menu. Ordered the eggplant parmesan, meatballs, pizza and wine. We sat at the bar in front of the wood fire ovens. Got to watch our meals being prepared and had the most pleasant conversation with the pizza makers. The meatballs were FIRE! They were amazing, wonderful combo of meats and hand made…AMAZING. The pizza was also just the best pizza I have had in a long time. They finish with actual Italian olive oil which took the experience to another level. Then oh whoa almost forgot about their dessert. We ordered the pistachio cake and tiramisu. WOW, the dessert was simply beautiful and perfect amount of sweetness. Everything was fresh and amazing. All the employees there were wonderful welcoming and kind. Such a great place! “Really good food and a pretty good price too. Though, one time we ordered food, then after ordering, we had an emergency we had to leave for. So, I let the staff know that we wanted that food to-go. They brought us twice the amount of food of the same order. One for dine in, and one for to-go and we got charged for both. Might've just been a miscommunication, but still.“

“I don't know why the other reviewer, SS, is lying about the kitchen never being open. I go there every other day between 10am and 130pm and have never, ever been told the kitchen was closed. They make my special order breakfast sandwich perfectly for me every time!

I assume SS showed up a few minutes before closing when they were told the kitchen was closed and wanted to vent their frustration, but that doesn't mean they should make up stuff about a business.

“The food was delicious as always!!! We sat outside, there was a DJ, it was a perfect Sat lunch. Apart from the food and mocktails/cocktails, we all agreed that our server Gordon was what made our girls lunch so special!!! (It was me + 3 of our daughters, celebrating one of their engagements & upcoming wedding). Gordon is so personable, attentive to every detail and created the most delightful experience for us!! “Saw this place on TikTok and had to come during the cocktail hours. On TikTok it seemed speakeasy vibes and moody which is what I wanted but with coming in, the music was a bit louder than I’d like, to the point I couldn’t hear my friends but when overlooking at the volume level this place is actually pretty nice. Love that the drinks were Asian esque. You cannot beat the price of drinks at all. Also if you’re here after 9pm, next door has pizza for $3! Also to note, you can’t sit on the couches unless you’re a big party, we were there for an hour and no one was sitting on it. Although the couch only seems to fit three people, it’d be nice to be able to sit on it.“
