“Not sure who the manager is here, but they do an amazing job at training. Place was packed on a Friday, but the servers didn't seem overwhelmed or flustered. Juan was great, personable, and attentielve. We just moved to Buford from Sugar Hill, so we know many of the local spots and this was one of the best. Service amazing. They all work together. Everyone was well connected and knew when the food was taking a little longer than usual. Victor was awesome as well. Very aware, energetic, and made sure the food came out great.The food: some of the best I've had on the north side. I got the Whole Snapper(under 20 bucks, which is a great deal) . My wife got the quesatacos with chicken. Definitely the best we have had. Better than Bravos. My daughter got the burrito and rice. All very good. Margaritas were made well and appropriately priced. “When Rancho Viejo first opened, I had 2 bad experiences - the food wasn't prepared as ordered, the bartender didn't know how to make a drink that was on the menu, and the service was slow. I tried it again a few weeks ago expecting another bad experience. Boy, was I wrong! The service was spot on, the food was great, the drinks were perfect. Will definitely go again!“

“Best Mexican food in the Dacula area! Everything is so authentic and the staff is always friendly. The quesadillas are amazing especially the carne asada. The tacos are very authentic and delicious - Great with the salsa! My family loved the Al pastor. The seasoning on the meat is perfect. We ended up ordering the tacos and quesadillas for my son’s rehearsal dinner. They did an amazing job and all of our family and friends were so complimentary of the food. My son’s fiancé’s family is from Guatemala and raved about the food. It was a hit and no one was disappointed. Highly recommend this place and love that we can get this quality of food locally.“

“My sister was curious about this restaurant for a long time. She decided to treat me to lunch the other day. I got enchiladas (two chicken one steak) and she got a burrito. The place was not busy the day we went, so we were seated right away. I was disappointed that they didn't have coffee. They did let me order hot water though. I appreciated that. The service was quick. The portions were good. The food was delicious. The only negative is that the ice cream/popsicles were $4 each!!!! That's a bit much. My niece and nephew each finished the ones they chose though, so, no regrets.“
