“So pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The food was amazing but the best part was our server Rhonda. She gave amazing suggestions and was a delight. We had the pimento cheese( I had never had before & never would have ordered without her suggestion. We had salads, fries and a bottle of bubbly!“

“Atmosphere was a vibe. Music was way too loud though for the amount of us that was in there, but the cashier was absolutely amazing. She was very sweet and kind and really took care of us. I was confused on my order and she fixed it with no issues no judgment or attitude. I need this everywhere I go.“

This is a beautiful unpretentious restaurant that excels in great food, wine and service.
A southern themed menu that is cooked and presented to perfection.
Special thanks to Rafael and Destiny who made the evening so much more pleasurable with their outstanding service.
Highly recommended.

“I first started coming here because the wait at the breakfast place across the street was way too long. However, Ruth’s sat us right away. This diner is now my go-to for breakfast in Augusta. You’ve gotta get the corned-beef hash! And a blueberry pancake, if you have room in your stomach.“

“This is gotta be one of my favorite southern food joints since moving here. The food is really really amazing the fried pork chops or something. I definitely recommend the peach cobbler is also very delicious. The staff is really really friendly. The restaurant is really really clean inside and outside. I definitely recommend Goolsby’s for anyone coming in the area. Trust me, you will not regret it.“

“There is a wife saver in my area. However, I travel to the Augusta location when I'm craving good soul food. The food is delicious and seasoned to perfection. Be careful drinking the sweet tea. It's very sweet and gives diabetes. Service is also excellent. Keep up the good work!“

“We had a delicious Thanksgiving to go meal from Edgar’s. Everything from the moist turkey to all sides were superb! The only complaint is that the cranberry sauce had bitter orange rinds in it that ruined the entire flavor of the cranberries.“

“I am usually there every Thursday. I always love talking to the lady's inside and shoot the breeze with the brothers outside! Great laid back and quiet atmosphere... I usually get the pulled pork, hash and rice with Mac and cheese. It NEVER fails that it is better each time. As a matter of fact, I am on my way now.“

“2nd visit :we enjoyed it..I had the Ribeye, corn, loaded mashed husband had chicken fried steak,baked potato, corn. It was fantastic. I would now highly recommend this place. The service and atmosphere were outstanding. Portions are large so come hungry.... Husband's hamburger was raw and French fries were cold. My shrimp was extremely over cooked and was tough. She replaced the hamburger ( iron was worse than the first and they changed me for the fries!!! Bill came to a little over $50.. to think we could have gone to the best restaurants!!
Parking: This place is the worst place we've been and it's expensive. I would like to say upon our 2nd visit I would rate the food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. We will be returning“

“We enjoyed having girls night in the bar! The oysters were yummy and fresh, and the scallops were beautifully cooked as well! Our server, Micheal W., was phenomenal and took exceptional care of us! Can't wait to come back and get another Blondie Brownie for dessert!“
