Highly recommend this restaurant and even got to talk directly with the owner/head chef Bill! If you are in the area or even if not make the drive, it will be well worth it!!! Neighborhood where it is located, Inman Park, is very nice as well with lots of walk-ability and less than 2 miles from downtown Atlanta, so make it a day or weekend trip.“

I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. The wrap had the perfect kick, and the fries were crisp and satisfying without feeling greasy. My partner got the Blackened Salmon Wrap with Steamed Seasoned Broccoli, and it was a hit. The salmon was cooked just right, and the broccoli had great flavor without being overly salty. “I first discovered this café through their catering service, and it immediately made a great impression. It was the most reasonably priced option I found, everything was freshly made, and the entire experience—from ordering to pickup—was smooth and pleasant.

Since then, I’ve visited many times, and it’s become one of my favorite cozy neighborhood spots. The sandwiches are consistently delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The family who owns and runs the café is genuinely kind, attentive, and incredibly hard-working. Especially in this harsh economy, it’s clear they put their heart and effort into what they do and truly care about their customers and community.

“We had just flown in from Austin to Atlanta and it was late so we wanted something to eat, we decided on Kenny’s. I was awestruck when we walked in, I could tell they were going for a “run-down” aesthetic and it totally worked. Most of the restaurant was a dance floor, that’s the only reason half the rooms would be empty, and random things like a ladder and a paint can were around the area for us to find. The 70s movie about heroin really added to the vibe. We were completely alone which must mean that everyone else ate it so fast that they were already gone. I ordered chicken tenders and fries. I could tell this was a high end hole in the wall because of the empty cafeteria style serving area and the exclusive use of to-go foam trays. The two men behind the counter had thick Mexican accents one wore a nirvana shirt, how fancy! When I went to go get my drink I was amazed to see that they had three flavors of kool-aid! I’ve never seen a restaurant like that! We sat down at one of the 5 tables in the 4 large rooms. After a short time our food came, when I tried it I understood how it was a tribute to mid food everywhere, it was profoundly meh 🫤 I was enchanted. Then we left.“

“I needed a last-minute cake, something special, and most bakeries close early. So I headed over to the Queen of Sheba, which google maps promised would have cakes until 8. But they didn't have the flavor requested! Disaster. A customer said tiramisu was a house specialty, and the young lady behind the counter agreed that it was her favorite. Even though tiramisu is a gamble with a new crowd, I went for it. It was one of the most delicious, perfect cakes I've ever had. That any of us had ever had. It's what all other tiramisu wishes it could be. Good price, too. I 100% will get my next cake there.“

The coffee was excellent, Lavender Haze on the Taylor’s menu was chefs kiss! They were even kind enough to make my 8 year old a Taylor’s version hot chocolate with a little lavender in it! I ordered 1 of the recommendations which was the pumpkin spice latte and added 2 pumps of white chocolate mocha because I love a sweet coffee. And it was perfection. Kind of mad at myself I didn’t order the big size. I tried the chocolate pumpkin spice cake at the bar as well and it was delicious. This will definitely be one of my go to spots when recommending visitors. So peaceful and the music was pure nostalgia.“
