“Nice spot with some good food and beer. Appetizers are all really good. Pretzel bites with cheese, buffalo cauliflower, and mushroom quesadilla were winners. Fish and chips is solid. I got Shepherd's Pie and it had a ton of grease on the top. I scooped off 5-6 large spoonfulls, which is excessive IMO. The server took it back and I thought I was going to get a fresh one, but when it came back I could see the spoon marks where I spooned off the oil. He confirmed it was the same dish but he just had the kitchen drain some of the oil. Odd, but whatever. They've had beignets as a special dessert both times I've been there and they are great. Not expected at a English/Irish pub, but they do them right.Service is friendly, vibe is nice. I do still miss Palookaville though!Parking: There's a lot connected to the pub with parking reserved for patrons. I've never had an issue finding a spot there.“
“Absolutely fantastic spot! Creative and delectable dishes at surprisingly affordable prices, and delicious craft cocktails served up in an intimate environment. If I have one complaint, it's their seating policy. They don't take reservations and they don't have a hostess, so when you show up, you're competing with others for the next available table. It's...suboptimal. Nonetheless, definitely worth checking this place out. I'll certainly be back, but probably on a week night to avoid fighting fellow patrons for a table.“
“Food is good but pub food set your expectations accordingly and you'll be very happy. Good beer selection needs maybe another tap or two would be perfect. The staff is fun and friendly. The space is a bit loud for intimate conversations and the early dinner hours has a lot of children. All in all a good local watering hole with solid food.Kid-friendliness: A fair number of kids are there during the core dinner hours“
“My husband and I ate here last Wednesday. It was our 1st visitWe each had the bacon Bleu cheeseburger. His medium, mine medium rare. Both cooked perfectly. We live an hour away so we won't be here often. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We wish you were closer.“
“Very busy, but service was good. As I was coming down with something my taste buds were off. My wife really enjoyed her food. We both had the fish and chips, with the olive oil cake. The portions were generous. My biggest complaint was that it was the noise, but I’m getting old and most people would not say that.“
“Now this is a great spot. Great atmosphere, good food, fast service, fair prices, and a great time for all who enter. I will definitely come back and you should stop by too. The only downside I could find is it is a cigar bar so if you don't like smoke you probably wouldn't enjoy as much as I did. I was here for karaoke night (Sunday) and everyone was having a blast. I look forward to my next visit. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. Definitely a much better spot than that awful bar Eastside Station(oh and it doesn't cost 7 effin dollars just to get in). Don't take my word for it. Check it out for yourself!“
“The vibes of a pub mixed with some innovative food options.Came here with the family on a Sunday night and it was warm enough that the outdoor seeing was open. The beer menu is decent with quite a few local options on draft. Make sure to check though as a few were tapped out for us.I had the Smoked Wings and loved the flavor. Just the right amount of spice to give them a kick but not so much you can't enjoy them. They have an entire kids menu as well with quite a nice selection. My kids got the cheeseburger and fish and chips, with the latter being so good I'll be ordering the adult size when I come back.Parking: There's a lot next to the place with quite a few spots, with plenty of street parking nearby.Kid-friendliness: There's an entire kids menu with many options.Wheelchair accessibility: Looks to be easy to enter and enjoy in a wheelchair with a good amount of space inside.“
“Outstanding pub. Kind of strange location. However the service is amazing and friendly, the drinks are strong, the food is good. Great atmosphere and absolutely no TV screens! First bar in years I’ve been in without a single TV. Refreshing! Highly recommend giving this unique spot a try.“
“Hey! Not sure why I didn't review until now. Ok food. Not good or bad but good enough for a pit stop. The service is great. Love the staff, friendly, warm, welcoming. It's an American pub. Dark ish....has trivia, darts, giant shelves filled with of games To borrow while there. Price? Plan on Food $12-20 with something small and basic. Beer $7-12 Mixed $5-18“
“Stopped in at this place to catch an English “soccer” game (EPL). It’s close to the Atl Zoo and across street from the Oakland cemetery. A shortish walk away from the Atl Beltline. They had two screens dedicated to EPL around the bar. The others showed NBA that day. So it’s a mix of sports on offer. The food was good… nothing was over salty or over spiced. So the taste of seafood comes through. The blackened catfish was good and the side of zucchini fries was excellent (especially the dip it came with). They also have a big selection of beer on tap. The Terrapin - Los Bravos (Athens, GA) was excellent if U like a light, citrusy lager.Service was good.“
“This place is AWESOME! Super nice bartenders, but the slower service was worth the wait - the younger guy was really nice to me. The smash burger and fries were probably best I've had in this work related trip. All the patrons were really nice and friendly, even the Malort Guy. I have been there two nights in a row to avoid the ritzy ditzy scene just a few blocks away, and whenever I return to Atlanta, I will return to Eleventh Street Pub.I went back again for my last night in town. David and Travis(?) were the bartenders. I will be back when I come back to town.“
“The food is always fresh and delicious, the cooks are AMAZING ...love the chill laid back atmosphere, the servers are pleasant and the drinks are really good, I recommend the expresso Martini, and as far as the food, you can't go wrong EVERYTHING IS AWESOME. I visit as often as I can this is definitely one of Oakhurst's gems ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“There's something very special about North Highland Pub! Whenever I want to hang out with my friends, we all agree on this location. The food is AMAZING! The drinks are SUPERB! The shots and WHEW! The jerk chicken egg rolls are the best thing on the menu. This by far is one of my favorite places to come and enjoy life and good friends!“
“Ordered by phone for delivery - large pizza and 2 large Caesar salads. Customer service on phone was great, delivery was timely, pizza was good but toppings sparse, however, oil used on salad croutons was old and rancid. Has been a neighborhood favorite for years but pizza toppings and rancid croutons makes me wonder what's going on there and whether I want to take a chance on another order. Hope it's just a blip and former quality standards return soon!“
“As you can imagine, I was in the mood for trying a new restaurant and stumbled across Manny’s via my Yelp Search. Manny sits in a neighborhood so there is street parking as well as they offer a few parking spaces in the back of the restaurant. When you walk up, you are pulled in by the intimacy of the “neighborhood bar” feel you can see through the all glass front. The location is huge and offers a main and sun main entrance door. Entering through the main entrance, you get to experience a full snapshot of the vibe. With tables in the front and the bar towards the back right, you are instantly caught up in the energy that radiates from the patrons. We decided to sit in the small area near the sub main entrance as it offered a more eat and unwind tone. As you seat yourself, it was a few minutes before the waitress arrived at our table. Once she arrived she greeted the table and welcomed us to Manny’s. She immediately took our drink orders and advised she would return shortly. As we awaited her return, I looked around the room to see if there were any menus and there were not. When the waitress arrived with our drinks she inquired if we were ready to order… Me: “Can you provide us with the menu as we may take a look?” Waitress: “It’s a QR Code!” Me: “Can we get the QR Code?” Upon me asking for the QR code she realized we didn’t have one in our table. She proceeded to one of the back tables and returned with the QR Code. I decided on the Candy Andy burger with a Side Caesar Salad. My meal was an absolute delight. The lettuce was fresh. The Caesar dressing was very tasty and super creamy. I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out it was homemade as it was truly a flavor-rific experience. LoL!! The Burger was soooooooo good. With a “Smash Burger” base, the Candy Andy is a perfect play of Sweet and Salty. The well seasoned, perfectly done, super moist burger pairs perfectly with the caramelized onions that sit on top of it and becomes engaged to the candied bacon that tops the burger. Oh my goodness! I don’t know what foodie ninja came up with this killer mix of burger joy, however, they did an amazing job. This burger is an absolute 10 out of 10 for me and is so good that I will be back to indulge in one again soon. If you find yourself in the area and desire a neighborhood gem with a nice vibe and great food, make sure to stop by Manny’s and enjoy the experience. P. S. If you see me in there, blame it on the burger. LoL!!“
“We came here on St Paddy's day this year to start the day off right with an irish breakfast and some drinks. The service was the low point. She got our drinks out quick (a pint of Guinness to start the day) But then took forever to come get our food order. And we were starving! But the food got there. We got a full irish breakfast with eggs over easy. It was a great meal! I enjoyed every part of it! It was a busy day, so I hate to beat on the service too bad. But the food and drinks were great. The menu looked awesome! I would like to come back and try some different food.“
“We are from out of town and didn't realize that the parking lot behind the bar was a "pay lot", since the signs were blocked. Came out after a birthday party to find 2(!!! !) boots on our car.If we had seen the signs( which were turned to be visible on exit, not entrance) we would have paid $15 (no apparent place to pay) but since the signs were not visible, we paid $75 (!!!!!) to get the boots removed.Ambiance was great, service decent, prices as expected, food super slow (50 minutes for a cheeseburger!) but tasty. We probably won't come back, but mostly because of the parking issues.“
“super cute hidden gem, the chicken sandwich is soooo fire i brought my friends here to make them try it and they loved it. liquor selection is so good, excellent place to eat and drink. i also love their unique patio setup. service is always sweet and efficient they are great. 10/10“
“Not sure if it's bc it was busy or not but they didn't set the Guinness.Overall friendly staff but the experience itself felt a little underwhelming in my opinion.BLT and fried goat cheese balls were really good, corned beef had a gassy taste to it. Irish breakfast was okay. Only one piece of fish served with the chips, it was good just small. Will probably go back on a quieter day.“
“Hubby and I love trying new places for date night Friday! After a quick google search we were on our way! The location is super convenient. Charles the host/server was an absolute joy! The food and drinks were amazing! We had the Orange Crush and the Ga Peach Mojito to start. For our appetizer we chose the fried green tomatoes. They were seasoned to perfection and delicious! We chose the salmon with lemon butter capers and green beans and the shrimp and grits! Everything was so beautifully presented and tasty! We finished with a chocolate brownie and ice cream. The food was well priced, the vibe was calm and inviting, and the experience was the best. Definitely put it on your list of “must try”!“
“The food here is incredible and the atmosphere is adorable. However, the employees are the rudest, most unpleasant people I have ever encountered. We were snapped at when we arrived and inquired about seating. Our server slammed waters on our table. On my way to the restroom, I heard the first surly server have a loud and angry exchange with the bartender. I think they were understaffed and really busy but that’s no excuse to behave so ugly to customers.“
“Great neighborhood bar!Trivia on Tuesdays at 7:30pm is awesome (even small cash prizes) and I’m sure they have other weekly events too.Food is some of the better bar food around, hit the chicken quesadillas or nachos, and the wings..Great service and vibes, Hanna is the best bartender around!“
“The establishment is easy to locate. There is limited parking at the location, but there is plenty of street parking around the area. The bar is big and welcoming. It is a sports bar, so everything decorated accordingly, mainly towards football. It is known to be main host for Arsenal matches in the weekend. The food is good, typical bar food nothing special. They have plenty of drinks, from beer to mixed drinks. Overall, would recommend coming to watch a football match on the weekends.“
“A nice place to go if you are a smoker. Too much cigarette smoke if you are not. I enjoyed for as long as I could but had to leave. I am glad that people enjoy themselves and their ability to smoke at this location. In no way am I advocating for the place to ban smoking, it is their place and they have the right to welcome their crowd! Enjoy“
“Everytime I go to Zanza bar I have a wonderful time. Great music, great food and great drinks. The outdoor patio has a heated lamp for the winter to keep you warm while smoking cigars. Pookie, Gabby, and Mo always make sure I am taken care of.“
“Their blackened chicken is flavorful, fits in nicely atop a caesar salad. My friend's smoked trout dip was spectacular, full of flavors. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the atmosphere. Only a 5 minute wait for a Saturday night dinner. Definitely worth a visit.Parking: The restaurant is in the hotel and shares a parking lot. The lot can be crowded if hotel is crowded.“
“The food and drinks are good, as are the staff and atmosphere. In fact, the bartender (Daniel, I think) was especially helpful with offering me some great info about the area for our return trip in a few months. Considering he had a fairly full bar to contend with, he didn't have to do that, but found a way without taking away from the great service provided to other customers. Publik Draft House is right across the street from the hotel we were at, so it was the most convenient option to avoid the hotel restaurant since those often tend to be extremely overpriced and/or low quality. I had their chicken Panini and it was very good. We'll be back to the same hotel in a few months, so we'll definitely go back to Publik Draft House.“
“Went for lunch with colleagues and my first time going. The place is so cozy and laid back and spacious on the inside. We sat on the back patio great vibe, the weather set the tone and you can bring ya pups if you like. I tried their sloppy joe sandwich and it was so good. The sandwich was huge with thinly sliced Poblano peppers, Queso Fresco crumbles and Blanco cheeses soo delicious. My only complaint was it was cold but pther than that I would definitely grt it again. The host/server/bartender was personable, friendly and quick comebacks. I am not sure if he is the owner or not.“
“Upon walking in I’m not sure if the bartender would have spoken to me had I not to her or if she intended to speak but I immediately took the initiative to inform her of my order that I had placed online. She wasn’t rude or anything but maybe having an off day or a lot on her mind.I decided to eat-in since it was my first time here. There was only one server and she was very pleasant and attentive for the most part. I ordered a burger. After sitting to wait for my food I ordered an iced tea. When my food finally came it didn't have any plasticware and it was missing lettuce and tomato that I had asked for. The burger was absolutely delicious though, so the reviews are spot on for that at least. The house-made pickles were a nice touch. By the time I had finished the burger I realized that the bacon that I had ordered wasn’t on the burger but I guess I didn’t miss it really… perhaps I’ll miss the $2.50 extra that I was charged for it later but I didn’t bother to make a fuss about it; it was a DoorDash Pickup order and I know that DoorDash often doesn’t include some add-ons to the BOH tablet and they should really fix that. The iced tea may have been sitting up for several hours because it tasted a little stale but again nothing to really complain over, I just drank my water and moved on. Would I come back again? Actually, yes. The vibes were chill, the burger was amazing and albeit it wasn’t impeccable service the atmosphere definitely made up for everything. We’re only human after all!“
“The food here is great, I had the pubdillas and add grilled chicken. The decor was also very cool, I love how it looks like a traditional pub in Europe. And the service was fair, the girl was very nice to us. I can't wait to come back for more“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting the local karaoke bar. The environment was inviting and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The music selection was excellent and there was something for everyone. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was delicious. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend this karaoke bar to anyone looking for a fun night out.“
“Fun place for sure! The people were very nice and correctly guessed our shoe size! The lanes were great. The bowling balls were dented, but I'm not a great bowler anyway, so it didn't really affect me!Food was served hot and brought out quickly. It was a great atmosphere and I'm excited to come again!“
“Keke was an amazing server. She was really knowledgeable about the menu and really helped us make some great selections. The service was great, quick, and everything came out perfectly. Will definitely be back next time my husband and I are in midtown.“
“honestly the food and the ingredients are excellent. four stars because the pizza was expensive. and I'm not sure that that's the restaurants fault. inflation could be hitting. I did not expect to spend $50 on a pizza but I also did not expect to taste something worth $50. It was definitely worth it.would like to see it more affordable to buy whole pizzas that are custom made but overall I've got to say their food is great.Parking: The parking lot is adequate most days but it's small so it fills up quick and there's odd angles for parking so it can be hard for an SUV like mine to back in or turn in properly.Kid-friendliness: as family friendly as it gets.Wheelchair accessibility: from what I remember it's wheelchair accessible.“
“Great spot, if a little over priced. Had the 7 burger and my wife had the cheese steak. Portions were appropriate and the food was delicious. Only minor gripe is their prices are slightly too high in my opinion. A basic hamburger without any extras is $15 and it felt more like a $12-13 hamburger. The Philly was $18 and that’s, again, maybe two or three bucks too high for what it is. I won’t hold it against the place, though. It was good and I know people gotta get paid.Parking: Most of the parking is around back by the brewery. Would be nice if there was easier access to the front from there. You have to walk out in the road to get around the building and go inside.“
“Move Gibney’s to the top of your restaurant choices! Incredibly delicious food and phenomenal service from Megan. Because they weren’t part of the basic review framework, I’ll add that the Beef Rolls appetizer and the Grilled Salmon entree were unbelievable. We apparently got the last order of the rolls and were happy for it. Megan described the food as made from scratch fresh everyday, and by the taste I believe it. Gibney’s is our first stop when we return, and we encourage everyone to give them a try.“
“Its very hard to give a bar a 5 star, but they came close for what I was looking for. Im from out of town working and drove from Atlanta to just get away from that scene (if you know you know). It was a relaxing place. I had the smoked chicken wings which were stupid good. Their hot sauce hit differently btw. The bartenders were nice and friendly and the music was relaxing and not loud Atlanta trap songs...I could actually recognize it. It got STUPID busy at about 12 on a Sunday night, which was cool, but that's my "cue to call". I'll be back certainly“
“Had a late lunch with friends this afternoon and had a stellar experience! Food is fresh and tasty and our server was a rockstar. She ran at least a 6 table section while taking care of a full bar as well. While it was clear she was busy, service was spot on and we never wanted for anything! Excited to go back to try their pizza!“
