This has happened twice now. The first time I chalked it up to the server having a bad day but since it’s happened again I simply just can’t. Both instances we have gone here to sit outside, they seem to have a great patio, however don’t get your hopes up about sitting on it. The first time this particular server who referred to themselves as “the old man” on our receipt, essentially told us he didn’t want to serve us if we sat outside. We stood there for a few seconds, caught off guard by his response. The bartender must have noticed because he came over and said he would wait on us if we wanted to sit outside. Feeling like an inconvenience we opted to sit inside. Today, same sever, pulled the same thing, saying it was wet and covered in pollen. No offer to wipe off a table. Again, not wanting to inconvenience him we sat inside. Long story short, don’t ask to sit outside unless you want to be made to feel bad and/or dumb for doing so.The 3 stars are for the food only. Next time I want to enjoy the nice weather on a patio I will go else where.

I enjoyed the cocktails and the staff was great, but I was told they couldn't do loaded fries or chilli cheese fries even though they have the ingredients. The reasoning was "the chef doesn't allow anything that's not strictly on the menu." For a fine dining resturant I understand but for a bar this was just poor service from the chef. Especially since I frequent local 7 who has the same owner and I never have this problem.

Nice spot with some good food and beer. Appetizers are all really good. Pretzel bites with cheese, buffalo cauliflower, and mushroom quesadilla were winners. Fish and chips is solid. I got Shepherd's Pie and it had a ton of grease on the top. I scooped off 5-6 large spoonfulls, which is excessive IMO. The server took it back and I thought I was going to get a fresh one, but when it came back I could see the spoon marks where I spooned off the oil. He confirmed it was the same dish but he just had the kitchen drain some of the oil. Odd, but whatever. They've had beignets as a special dessert both times I've been there and they are great. Not expected at a English/Irish pub, but they do them right.Service is friendly, vibe is nice. I do still miss Palookaville though!Parking: There's a lot connected to the pub with parking reserved for patrons. I've never had an issue finding a spot there.

Ok y'all. Jamie is an absolute gem of a server in a sea of Atlanta sub par service. To be honest all the servers we saw tonight were working hard but she was LOVELY. Drinks were DELISH, great food/drink recommendations, good GOOD food. A gem of a place. So cute and totally had the neighborhood vibe we were looking for when out exploring new places. (Bathroom could use a bump but it was clean and that's what really is important)

The restaurant had a musty smell, the servers seemed confused or overwhelmed when they tried to seat us, I wound up ordering one burger to-go thinking that would be simpler. They said it would be 15 minutes; it was 30 minutes and the order was wrong and they forgot the condiments. Maybe just a bad night, idk.
The food and service were really good. They need to fix their water problem.

I stumbled upon this pub as I was on my way to the farmers market nearby. I saw the reviews, which sounded great.I ordered the house Bloody Mary, which was one of the better ones I have had. It was the perfect amount of spice, and very flavorful. For my entree, I chose the fish and chips. The plate came with 2 massive pieces of cod, fries, cole slaw, and some nice, tangy tartar sauce.The fish was awesome. The fish-to-breading ratio was perfect. The breading was light and crispy with a satisfying crunch. Almost that of a tempura. The fries were lightly seasoned and, of course incredible after I added the malt vinegar. The Fish and Chips, I highly recommend.Lastly, I just wanted to say our server Aurelia was so welcoming and fun to talk to. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much for a great meal and service!
