“It was good food, BUT there wasn’t much left at 9:30am when we got there. If you are going to go get there early! The ladies were sweet and the tea was good.

Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten free and was able to have cheese grits, eggs, ham & sausage.“

“We had a party of nine that traveled about an hour to visit The American. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We shared tastes from each others choices. The comments were all positive and a couple said this is the best meal they could remember anytime anywhere. There were some wanting to make a monthly trip. Exquisite experience.“

“I’m usually very picky when it comes to buffets but my husband loves them so I make the occasional trip to one with him. I have to say the food here was excellent, I went out of my comfort zone and loved everything I tried. The banana pudding has to be one of the top 3 I’ve ever had it was amazing and the staff was very friendly. I even saw the manager walking around making sure the food stayed hot and fresh. Will definitely be coming again!“
