We traveled from Oklahoma to Georgia and visited Gibbs Gardens, which was incredible! Afterwards we came across Lora Mae’s in Ball Ground. It was such a clean, peaceful and relaxing place! It was 1:30, so past the lunch crowd. I had the BLT+avocado; my husband had the grilled chicken and pimento sandwich (homemade pimento cheese and pepper jelly) ; and we shared an order of red potato salad. This is truly a hidden gem in Ball Ground. They’re just off the main road and worth the slight detour. Honey Salmon with stone ground grits, roasted duck, fresh salads and friendly service. You need to come try them out!
We had my son’s rehearsal dinner at Lora Mae’s this past weekend. Peter did everything possible to make our event memorable. He and his staff were so kind and accommodating.
The buffet style meal was excellent and the event site was a perfect match for the outdoor wedding that followed on Saturday at West Milford Farms. If you are looking for a place to host an event or just a great meal if you are in the area, this is your place❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
