“We tried Local Eats Blackshear for the first time last night. They wanted an honest review. The two of us graded on 5 parts. Difficulty of menu, Wait time, Presentation, Taste and lastly comparing price to over all experience and we both scored differently but averaged it at 4.4 stars!!! Would we eat there again? “A cozy, Family owned little cafe with the best soups and sandwiches in town! I’ve grew up eating here my whole life. The toasted walnut chicken salad is 10/10! The cuban, club and Ruben sandwiches are a big hit! As well as the shrimp bisque soup and chicken enchilada. There’s many sandwiches and salads the choose from. You can get half of any sandwich with a 12oz bowl of soup as well as a drink for only $10.50! All food is made with high quality meats and ingredients! The atmosphere is very cozy, you’ll feel like you’re eating at grandmas house! Great service and a sweet staff. Regular customers come multiple times a week! If you’re ever traveling through, stop by and try it out!!“

“Went to Cracker Barrel this past Friday. Waitress was awesome. She did a great job and the food was good.However was not pleased with the taking off of some of the items on the menu especially the MAPLE BACON CHICKEN. Please bring back the item.“

“I like salads and can't be the only one,that being said ,since it's the first thing the customer see entering the door it should be 5 star.Wilted lettuces are not appetizing.The music was distracting,the TV's were not on anything that could elicit a conversation,and by way I didn't even get the hostess or my server's names.Note to management,if you're going to have a conversation in the kitchen...don't do it in front of the service window!“

“If you haven't eaten here it is probably one of the top two or three restaurants in the whole city of waycross. Great seafood and a fabulous salad bar which is very hard to find these days. Salad bar has a great great variety a vegetables salads. No matter what you order you always get plenty of food where you don't go hungry .The only thing that I would say about this place is that the service could be a little better if sometimes even on less busy days they get a little forgetful. But I still gave them a five-star review since the food was very good and they are one of the few places that has a true salad bar. Try it and I'm sure you won't regret it.“

“I was meeting my daughter and son in love for supper. The server came over I ordered a drink told her I was waiting on my daughter but that I will eat there but I would also be taking a dinner home to my husband. I asked if I needed to go ahead and place that order now or when I ordered with everybody. Told her I needed to be walking out the door by 7:30 it was only 5:30. We all ordered around 6pm we didn’t get our food till 7:45. I round up having to take my food home also. The food was cold. Our steaks were tough. It was not good, & the server didn’t care. I asked to speak to the manager and was told no one was there at the moment. I want be back for long time!“
