“My husband and I stopped in for breakfast on our way to Murphy, NC. We pulled in the parking lot 5 minutes before opening and there was a small line forming. Once seated, our waitress was prompt and warming. I ordered my breakfast with the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were just like grandma would make. Delicious and soft. The gravy was amazing. If I would have known the plate you get for the biscuits, I would have ordered just that because they were that darn good. I highly recommend this quaint breakfast spot, even if you’re just passing through.”

“My 11-year-old granddaughter from Atlanta came up to visit and all she wanted was a Japanese bowl. Wow! Sushi shake this was Amazing! The chicken with the poke bowl was the best we ever had!”

“We always have a good experiencd. They go the extra mile and will even make your favorite pizza when you ask them to. You can always find fresh hot pizza and a delicious salad. My big family loves Downtown Pizza, 5 out of 5.”

“The mobile thru is last priority now versus how easy the process was before the "remodel". I watched 5 cars that ordered AFTER me in the drive thru get their food and drive while I waited over 15 minutes for a lemonade and and ice cup in the mobile thru line. This is the 4th time I've been here since they reopened and it's clear that something drastic has changed in their training, leadership, priorities (at least at the drive thru), etc.....”

“I'm very critical of restaurants and won't eat just anywhere. This is one of my favorites and that is in part to the wait staff in particular Ms. Mary. She always has a smile on her face no matter how busy they are. She is the best and I always try to sit in her section.”

“Melissa's Cakes are by far the best. We traveled from Fl to GA for our wedding. Lucky for us we decided to check them out. SOOO glad we did. From the cake tasting and creating the desserts and setting up the dessert table everything was far above superb. We had Lemon with raspberry filling for our cake and cupcakes, along with 3 other flavor cupcakes; strawberry with lemon mousse filling, red velvet with chocolate mousse filling, and hummingbird with lemon mousse (which if you haven't tried you really need to). We also had the Buckeye's and some of the bark they make..there was none left...lol..everyone loved all of it..Thank you so much for doing such an amazing job on everything!!!”

“Stopped by to get the White Christmas coffee that I saw on Facebook this morning while running some errands with my newborn. I decided to go in to check out the SAFE Christmas tree. The coffee was so good😍 and I had to get a chocolate chip muffin because it looked so good (and it was!). Love the atmosphere and the fact that they always do stuff to help the community. Needless to say my hands were full with a car seat and my bag, so one of the sweet girls behind the counter asked if she could carry my muffin and coffee out to the car to help! Will definitely be going here more often after this experience😊”

“Just beautiful! One of a kind items plus the delicious ice cream. The back deck over looking the river is so relaxing as you eat your ice cream and watch the river tubers come in. The experience is hard to put into words but I will say I intend to go as often as possible. The tubing guy Hank is super cool, handsome and such a gentleman! The owner, Melissa has museum quality displays of family memorabilia to see and enjoy as well. One of my favorite things to purchase is the locally made jams and soaps. Love love this place!”

“this isn't against the employees, this is against the employer. My son was hired in their Tin Roof Creamery. The ad for the job (have a screen shot) said the pay range was between 26k to 28k a year. That is a minimum of 12.50 an hour. When my son got his first paycheck, it was on his pay stub as 9.50 an hour. When he asked his boss she said everyone has to pay taxes. Then he was fired for not paying for a cup of coffee. In my opinion that is a retaliatory firing because he inquired about his pay. They also pool tips which is not illegal but there has to be transparency in the process and they can only require them to pool a reasonable amount. In my opinion you are better off going to McDonald's to get a job.”

“My bf and I went there today for the first time. He got shrimp tacos with sweet potato fries and I got the catfish sandwich with onion rings. We got the smoked salmon spread w crackers for our appetizer. The catfish fillet on my sandwich was huge and both my sandwich and his tacos were excellent. You just have to tell the cashier what you want on the sandwich (I did lettuce and tomato) the tartar sauce/cocktail sauce will be waiting at the table for you. Which I liked since most places don’t put enough tartar sauce for my liking, so I enjoyed the do it yourself aspect! The sweet potato fries were a much better option than the onion rings. Onion rings were more breading than onion. I wasn’t a fan of the hush puppies they tasted kinda bland. But like I said, shrimp tacos and catfish sandwich were perfect!! Also the smoked salmon spread was delicious!! We will def go back!! Want to try their 30 shrimp dinner!! (If you haven’t been here before, they have menus as you walk in and you place your order at counter. They give you a buzzer for your table so when it goes off you just hold it up so the waitress can see it and bring it to you. You can pick your own table. And if getting fountain drink/sweet tea/ coffee, you just go up and help yourself they have the cups there!)”

“Lunch price isn't too bad but does not include drink. If you add something to drink, you'll wind up paying $20 for lunch. The food is good but the drink price is where they get you.”

“7/3/2024 Excellent little self serve (or can order off the menu) deli inside a gas station at Owl Town. 4 tables in a nice setting. Had the Bacon Egg and cheese biscuit. Large biscuit with lots of bacon. Very pleased.”

“Chef Brian is a true sushi master, he has amazing sushi creations. The place is clean and you can tell the staff really cares about what they do. I've had sushi all over the states and this is one of the best spots.”

“Great BBQ, however, I ate at the Rib Country in Cleveland 3-4 times a month with my family until you recently increased the prices. It was expensive before, but the BBQ was good. The price has officially become too outrageous for a family to eat out. Good luck with your business, but I will no longer eat at your establishment until the price can be reduced to a more reasonable rate.”

“Joyce and I went to the View for lunch today. I had the fish and chips and she had the Philly cheese steak and fries. We had a great experience. Food was delicious, staff was great and our waitress Ava did an outstanding job! Will definitely be going back soon. The new management is doing a great job!”

“My husband and I go in just about every day and the service we receive is beyond excellent! Ben always makes our coffee’s perfect and the rest of the staff is just as wonderful as him. I’ve been to multiple other locations and I’ve yet to get a coffee that taste as good as the one made at this location! Favorite location and favorite baristas My drink: Brown sugar shaken espresso”

“It's a waffle house. You know if you like it or not. I had my breakfast sandwich at 11pm at night and it tasted exactly like what I wanted it to taste like. This is a 5/5 for a waffle house.”

When we walked in the restaurant we knew we had to order something it smelled fantastic. Restrooms were clean, quick and accurate service, kind, and food was fantastic. We ordered Sweet and spicy wings and original hot, both were fantastic.”
