“Some damn good BBQ. It's a rustic hole-in-the-wall, so don't expect table service or any fancy experiences. As long as you're there for amazing food and nothing else -- you're going to love it. It's a good spot to get away from worries about polite society and just gnaw into great southern BBQ.Vegetarian options: Coleslaw is about it.Wheelchair accessibility: Gravel seating area, but doable.Dietary restrictions: Probably not the place.“
“Best BBQ I gave ever had!!! The Brunswick stew is phenomenal (order the large you won't regret it!!!). A word of advice: Go early like 11:00AM, because they will run out of the favorites. You can call before 11:00AM, but they won't answer the phone after 11:00AM.“
“There are 3 things I look for when eating out: taste, service, and value. Everyone in our group felt that Rib City hit the first two out of the park! The brisket is the best I've ever had. Our server, Susan, was awesome. I think their prices are a tad high. Being charged extra for "premium sides" is annoying. That being said, the food quality was outstanding and merits a return visit; maybe they offer coupons?“
“Great BBQ. The ribs are very meaty and nicely prepared. The Brunswick Stew is full of meat, and the Mexican Sausage Casserole is delicious. All the food was delicious - Plenty of food and a lot to take home. The service is very friendly and welcoming. Although it is mostly a takeout place there is some porch seating and a small dining room, it was a great place for a Saturday outing. They have plans to build a new and bigger restaurant nearby...I sure hope they maintain the quality of the food and the friendly service so more people can linger over great BBQ.“
“Lots of issues with our order. My meal was not great. Shrimp tasted funny..Tenders seemed over fried..sirloin was very tough. Asked for sweet potato with butter and cinnamon on the side..came with it on. I asked that the rice not be served just steak and shrimp...got rice...asked that my broccoli be double steamed...it was not. All that being said it was very unusual for this Longhorn. . We will definitely be back just a bad night.“
“So as a flat-lander visiting the North Georgia Mountains, Firehouse 17 Pizza and More is a must do when in Young Harris. The garlic knots were EPIC. Savory, flavorful and full of GAHLIC!Then came the caprese salad, then the “original” margarita, the meatball parm sub, the supremely delicious dessert Knots!!With three separate sauces (pizza, meatball sub, etc) , this restaurant is a welcome addition to Young Harris. Yes the restaurant has been here for years BUT it’s now under new management and they have improved on the recipes, the FRESH ingredients, and the service and it shows!!Make it a point to stop here for dinner. “I’m 47 years old and eat BBQ regularly. This was by far some of the best I’ve ever had. The brisket was the juiciest and most tender I’ve ever eaten. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the wings were excellent. Baked beans and potato salad were also good. We tried three of the sauces and all were excellent. He let us sample a piece of the turkey and it was absolutely delicious. If we lived closer, we would eat here all the time. I’m already planning to come up here next Thanksgiving to get some of this turkey. It’s worth the drive.“
