“Delicious food! Had the fried green tomatoes, pulled pork and cole slaw and it was out promptly and the portions were generous. Our server was excellent and even gave us free chocolate chip cookies to take home! We loved everything and will definitely be back.“
“From Louisiana we were here on a contract in the mountains and wanted bbq, went to 3 different bbq places during our stay in 2021! This was the best bbq I ever had in my life, best service, best prices, best quality, best taste! I always look for this place when I visit ga, it’s just so far! But it’s worth the 2 hour drive every time! I had to search my messages to find this place again! This time I will not lose it because I am putting a saved pin ? on it!“
“So as a flat-lander visiting the North Georgia Mountains, Firehouse 17 Pizza and More is a must do when in Young Harris. The garlic knots were EPIC. Savory, flavorful and full of GAHLIC!Then came the caprese salad, then the “original” margarita, the meatball parm sub, the supremely delicious dessert Knots!!With three separate sauces (pizza, meatball sub, etc) , this restaurant is a welcome addition to Young Harris. Yes the restaurant has been here for years BUT it’s now under new management and they have improved on the recipes, the FRESH ingredients, and the service and it shows!!Make it a point to stop here for dinner. Todd, a Marine Corps Veteran, will welcome you and serve you some of the best “Za” in Towns County.Parking: This place has a HUGE parking lot in the rear.“
“Our family had a great dinner here on our trip to Hiawassee. The bbq was delicious and the staff made us feel at home. We were celebrating my daughter who is a senior in high school getting accepted into the college of her choice. Definitely planning on visiting Hawg Wild on our next visit to Hiawassee. Also they have amazing views to enjoy while dining of the lake and mountains.“
“The food is really good. The lemonades are good, although pricey. The service is slow, but she is only one person. It is a food truck parked in front of a small brewery bar. They share the outside seating, so it can be warm. There are some shady spots to sit at. There is live music by an older guy that plays mostly older music.“
