“Surprisingly good place. Looks like a dive joint in a strip mall but amazingly good food at reasonable prices. Owners are very friendly and take care of guests. We got there at closing and they prepared our order and had us use the outdoor tables.“
“We drove from Murphy looking for good barbeque. We stopped in Hiawassee and were told we have to go to Jim's. And make sure you try the banana pudding!!! We had driven by Jim's in the past, but they must've been closed. When we pulled up, the parking lot was packed. As soon as we walked in the door, a gentleman from Atlanta( he told us he drove all the way to Jim's from Atlanta) told us everything was great, but make sure you try the banana pudding. I had brisket , pork ribs, baked beans and banana pudding. My wife had brisket and sweet potato fries. I would say everything was off the charts delicious. The banana pudding, out of this world!!!! All of the staff were so kind, friendly and grateful we stopped in. I highly recommend Jim's, even if you're driving all the way from Murphy or Atlanta!!!!!“
“Friendly despite being busy, this was a great place to drop in for a late lunch.Country Fried Steak was very crispy, yet fork tender! Gravy was perfect and super hot temp wise. (I hate when the gravy is not as hot as the steak!)The sirloin was ordered medium rare and was delivered to the table exactly as. So refreshing to find somewhere that gets it right.Fries were good... could have been a little more, but I am beginning to think that is a me problem, LOLThe salad bar was simple, but exactly what was needed for a side salad, plus you then get to build it the way you want.OMG the cups were a mouth dropping surprise! Hahahaha! You have to see the pictures!There are a couple other things of note... they have a "need a meal, take a meal board" with the receipts of the meal someone was given on it. If you feel in your heart to pay the restaurant for the meal they have given someone, then you can do so. ❤️The other thing is a small alcove of items for sale... we poked around to see what was there and ended up with an Oleg Cassini cut crystal candle stand (in the original box) for less than 25% list. Maybe you should take a look too?“
“We stopped through to get to go plates as we were on our way to bury my mother out of town. The waitress was exceptional, very attentive, quick and friendly. The food was mostly delicious. There were a few things that weren't as ordered, but it happens. The space was extremely tight.“
“Lots of issues with our order. My meal was not great. Shrimp tasted funny..Tenders seemed over fried..sirloin was very tough. Asked for sweet potato with butter and cinnamon on the side..came with it on. I asked that the rice not be served just steak and shrimp...got rice...asked that my broccoli be double steamed...it was not. All that being said it was very unusual for this Longhorn. . We will definitely be back just a bad night.“
“This is a wonderful local restaurant featuring the most beautiful views in Blairsville overlooking a gorgeous municipal golf course. It was a surprising treat! The patty melt with grilled onions was was just delicious and you can pair it with a fresh big salad, loaded bake potato or other sides. This is a great stop for a quality, deli sandwich, burger, and or fries as well. Just know that you will have to walk upstairs once you enter to reach the restaurant.“
“I have stopped here a few times in recent months, while traveling from TN to NE GA. The entire staff was very friendly and proficient, even when hit with a rush in the middle of the night. For me, it is conveniently located, never far out-of-the-way, and a great place to take a break during a long drive.“
“There are 3 things I look for when eating out: taste, service, and value. Everyone in our group felt that Rib City hit the first two out of the park! The brisket is the best I've ever had. Our server, Susan, was awesome. I think their prices are a tad high. Being charged extra for "premium sides" is annoying. That being said, the food quality was outstanding and merits a return visit; maybe they offer coupons?“
