“Flying Trout Restaurant My mother recently passed away, and we were searching for the right place to host her funeral luncheon. We tried several restaurants in Blairsville, but either they couldn’t accommodate us or the experience didn’t feel appropriate for honoring such a wonderful woman. We wanted the setting to truly reflect her life and spirit. My aunt spoke with Melissa at Flying Trout, and from the very beginning she was exceptional. When I stopped by to discuss table setup and connecting a laptop, she immediately stopped what she was doing and personally came over to help. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail meant more than she probably knows. I spent over 30 years working in restaurants and country clubs in nearly every position, so I understand how challenging it can be to serve a group of 20+ people during an emotional gathering where guests are moving around, talking, and grieving. Melissa and her team handled everything with absolute grace. The waitstaff was patient, sympathetic, and genuinely caring throughout the entire event. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was impeccable. It brought comfort to our family during a very difficult time, and I truly believe my mother would have been pleased with how beautifully everything was handled. My heart is full of gratitude. “First time staying at the Copperhead Lodge and it could not been better! Denise and her whole staff are outstanding, professional and really nice, all were a real pleasure to deal with. The food is awesome and everything I ate for lunch and dinner was prepared top notch, was tasty and the portions were very generous. The rooms were clean and very functional and a nice sized refrigerator was a nice touch. Getting to park our motorcycles right in front of the room, a real bonus. Overall, an A++++ for the whole experience and we will be back.“

“Food and drinks were very good but we had just walked in a little after 9 p.m. on a Friday night and were told it was last call due to not being busy enough (the website says they are open until 11). The place looked packed when we walked in so I'm not sure why they were closing early and could have made another $100 or so based on the number of people in our group. The death of this place will be its unreliable close time.“

The staff was friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was clean, and the food was fast, fresh, and cooked perfectly.

“Popped by while in the area for Lunch . I’d remembered that we had been to this Long Horn location in the past and it was fantastic.
We ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a sweet potato and side salad .
The salad was nice size and the piece of chicken on our sandwich was quite large and cooked to perfection. 😋 Our sweet potatoes were sweet and delicious. Bread arrived quickly after being seated without a second thought. I was debating if I should eat bread since I had bread with my sandwich but it was hot and buttery so YES . Our server was spot on and we were never in need of anything as she seemed to read our minds .
We have been to several different Longhorns across the USA but ThIS one is The Best !“

“Ten friends and I recently had lunch at Brassies Grill, and we were extremely impressed with our waiter, Noah. He took all 10 food and drink orders without writing down a single item and somehow got every order exactly right!

Noah was the only server working in our dining room, yet he handled everything with professionalism, efficiency, and a smile. He was friendly, answered all of our questions, checked on us regularly, and genuinely seemed eager to make sure everyone had a great experience.

Excellent service is hard to find, and Noah truly went above and beyond. He is a tremendous asset to Brassies Grill, and I wanted
