About Angry Hops Brewing
Angry Hops Brewing Reviews
Wonderful brewery and easily the best one in Blue Ridge. The sister brewery, Mean King, in Chattanooga area is also awesome. Neither of the two have a bad beer.
Enjoyed our visit here in October 2023. Walked to it from the train. The Munich Dunkel Brown Ale is fabulous! Dog friendly in their outdoors seating area.
We had a great day with Angry Hops! Good beer and great folks!

Angry Hops Brewing is a spacious and welcoming brewery that offers a large selection of 20 beers on tap, including a delicious Munich dunkel, some exceptional IPAs, and great sours. The service is friendly and attentive, making visitors feel comfortable. The brewery features both indoor and outdoor seating, providing a cozy and industrial space that stands out from other breweries in town. Customers enjoy the lively atmosphere, live music, and the dog-friendly environment. It is a popular stop for those heading to their cabin in the mountains and is considered a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Families appreciate the food truck “Der Wurst Meister,” which goes above and beyond to cater to kids, even offering free desserts for trying new things. The brewery also does can on site, so guests can take home six-packs, with the Autumn Decay (marzen) being one of the best beers ever tried. Although the early closing time is a downside, it aligns with the town’s quiet evening vibe. Overall, Angry Hops Brewing is a great place to enjoy a drink, especially with fun activities like free bingo on Tuesdays.
