“We enjoyed eating at Southern Charm on our trip to the mountains last week. Never had a bad meal there. My husband and I shared a catfish plate and a jumbo fried shrimp plate. The portions were huge and the food was as always hot and delicious. The prices were very reasonable also. The cheese grits were the best I’ve ever had. I am hoping the chef will please send me the recipe or at least tell me what cheeses were used. We almost came back the very next night to order the exact same thing.…but decided not to over indulge. We do love some fried catfish and shrimp though. We will definitely be back for more soon. The empty plates speak for themselves.“
“Loved walking through the chic gift shop and enjoyed the wine tasting. Their apples and original specialty foods are amazing! They have spices, sauces, dips, multiple flavored honey blends, fresh vegetables and so much more! Take your family, kids or friends, they’ll love it!“

“We had a great experience at Misty Mountain Hops during a recent trip to Blue Ridge. We showed up around 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday with a party of seven, which can sometimes be a challenge in a busy tourist town. To our surprise, we were seated immediately with no wait at all.
From the start, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and very patient with our group, especially when it came to getting all of the kids' drink orders figured out. There was a small issue with one of my brother-in-law's drinks, but it was handled quickly and without any fuss. It's always nice to see a restaurant take care of a problem immediately instead of making it a bigger issue than it needs to be.
For appetizers, we tried the fried deviled eggs, both the traditional version and the buffalo version. If you've never had fried deviled eggs before, definitely give them a shot. They were unique and really good. One thing I will mention is that the buffalo version has a legitimate kick to it. If you're someone who normally orders mild buffalo sauce, be aware that this is closer to what I'd consider a hot buffalo flavor. The taste was excellent, but it definitely brings some heat.
That same theme carried over to my sister-in-law's buffalo chicken wrap. She enjoyed it and finished it, but it was spicier than expected. Again, great flavor, but if you're sensitive to spicy food, you may want to order something else or at least be prepared for a little burn.
The food across the table was excellent, and everyone seemed happy with what they ordered. What really stood out, though, was the service. We mentioned that it was my nephew's 16th birthday, and our waitress decided to make it fun by sticking birthday candles in his order of tater tots. It was completely unexpected and honestly hilarious. It wasn't some big over-the-top production, just a simple gesture that made everyone laugh and made his birthday dinner a little more memorable.
Sometimes it's the little things that make a restaurant stand out, and that's exactly what happened here. Good food, great service, a fun atmosphere, and a staff that genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a good experience.
If we find ourselves back in Blue Ridge anytime soon, Misty Mountain Hops will definitely be on our list of places to visit again. Highly recommend“

“We go to Chester's fairly often and can recommend it highly. It's super popular and takes no reservations, so having to wait is no fun. But once you're seated, the service is friendly and quick, the fast-casual food is delicious, and the price moderate. Why is Chesters's popular, crowded and successful? Because its formula is sure-fire and executed well.“

“UPDATE 7/10/26
This was our third meal at Harvest On Main and it is still one of the top 3 best meals we’ve ever had. I was really wanting to try something new to let you all know if the other dishes are as good but I could not resist ordering the Bang Bang Salmon. The portions were huge and everything was cooked to absolute perfection. We will return in October and we promise to give another update and plan on trying the Trout. Let’s see if I can really try a new dish.
UPDATE 10/31/2025
We had lunch for the second time today and Harvest On Main did not disappoint! We couldn’t pass up having the Bang Bang Salmon again. It was actually just as good as the first time back in July. The Salmon was cooked to perfection and the seasoning and sauce are so good. We added some toasted bread to our order and that made the meal perfect. Our waitress today was Danielle and she was very attentive!
July 2025Great ambiance and even better food. We ordered the Sampler Platter which has a great variety. The only complaint was the hummus was a bit bland. We also both ordered the Salmon with rice and coleslaw. The portions were large and the flavors were wonderful. The waitstaff were attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back!!!“

“Great Wings & Great Drinks at Blue Coyote Blue Coyote is a must-stop in Blue Ridge if you love great wings and well-made drinks. The wings are outstanding—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and some of the best in the area. Pair them with a drink from the bar and you’re set. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, the drinks are strong and tasty, and the overall vibe makes it a great place to hang out with friends or unwind after a day in town. Consistently good food, great drinks, and a spot we always enjoy coming back to. Highly recommend.“
