“It was a to go order and the food was brought to the car . It was warm and delicious . We had a grilled Salmon and a Tbone ( like) steak ! The sides were so Devine I ate my steak the next day . Brussels sprouts were so yummmy I SQUATED to honor them , the French Onion soup made me HOLLER like they were whooping my behind, may be the best I have had ! Give it a try !! “Small, unassuming Chinese restaurant located on Atl Hwy near the train tracks in Statham. Don't let the appearance fool you. Our meals were delicious, affordable, and plentiful. What more could you ask for? Their Mongolian Beef was the best I've had in Athens so far and I had enough left over for lunch the next day. My husband and daughter thoroughly enjoyed their Chicken and Broccoli and Shrimp and Broccoli as well as the Crab Rangoon we had as an appetizer. Service was excellent and we will definitely come back.“

“We approached Terrapin and noticed a large parking lot, which made things easy. We found a space pretty quickly and walked over to the property. We could see that they had a Día de los Muertos festival going on. We found the main entrance and stepped inside. I was thrown off at first by how empty and quiet it was. The first thing I noticed was a small souvenir shop near the front. We continued to walk in a little farther and found the main bar area with all the taps lined up and the wall covered in signs listing their rotating beer selections. We asked the staff behind the counter if they offered flights. Although they don't do traditional flights, they do have a special where you could choose six 6-ounce pours and you get to keep your choice of Terrapin glassware. Wifey and I each picked three beers each from the rotating menu. We chose everything from a Wheat to a Stout. We scooped our beers and headed out to the outside seating area where the festival was in full swing. As we started sipping our beers, we enjoyed most of our choices and the great weather. Then a few bees started hanging around, and unfortunately, a couple even dove into our beers. I took them back inside, let the staff know what happened, and they replaced them right away with no hesitation. We hung out outside for a little while longer, finished our beers, and enjoyed the weather and festival activities. As we were leaving, I noticed a small stage setup. So I am sure they have live music here as well. Overall, a very good first visit to the Terrapin Brewery in Athens. We will definitely come back to try some other options.“

“Food and customer service were good. However, I’ve been to many KBBQ spots, even in cities smaller than Athens, and they all offered more options. This place is definitely the most expensive with the fewest choices. The all-you-can-eat is around $35. I understand it’s the only KBBQ spot in the area, which I’m assuming is why it’s so pricey despite having fewer options than a typical all you can eat KBBQ.“

“This was our first time at this restaurant. Our hibachi experience was awesome! We came on a Monday so it was just us at the table. It was our chef Dika’s first day and he did exceptional! “I am a South Georgia girl who has been waiting for the Athens, GA location to open. Let me just say that the workers at the Athens location were AMAZING!! I was so excited to eat Surcheros again, but now I can’t wait for a chance to dine in with them! “We had a waitress and a new employee she was training to take our order. It was a little confusing to begin with. Forgot to get my daughters choice of drink. Then brought out a glass of water with a fly in it. Other then that, it was all good. And just as nice as could be with us. We had 6 adults and 5 children. “Best Chinese food anywhere! Eggrolls are phenomenal! We had the meal for 6 people and it was soooo much food we had lunch and dinner and gave some away. Mongolian beef is exceptional. Sizzling rice soup is both fun and delicious! Sweet and sour shrimp is perfect. I could go on...but you should just go! You won't regret it!“

“While visiting my Aunt in Athens we got take out From the Timothy Road location. We were told an hour. I arrived 50 minutes later, paid and waited about 10 minutes for the server to return to the bar with our order. I could tell the pizza box was not warm but when it was handed to me. When we arrived at my Aunts condo just a few minutes up the road the pizza and pasta were COLD. Frustrating to have to wait for cold food. The salads were good and the taste of the pizza and pasta were good. Next time I guess I’ll order and wait at the bar?“

“I love Cracker Barrel. 90 % of the time we get a great meal. However every time I order mash potatoes they are cold and lumpy. Someone needs to learn how to make mash potatoes. A little milk and butter will solve your problem.“

Update..after the review I gave a few days later I finally got a bad experience .After about 5 years coming here I have always got a senior citizen discount. This time they would not honor it. I told them I had always got it . I am 63 . She saying 65 years old . We argue about it some.I paid and left. Will not be back .“
